    Agree. I’ve been a few times and considering it’s only a hop skip and a jump away from BKK and easily accessible, I saw very few farang.

    Don’t think I’ve ever seen any Indians legless in Pattaya.. all they seem to do is walking up and down the soi’s eyeing the girls up

    Never had any real issues with Thai males, the odd dirty look.. all my wife’s mates couldn’t give a toss about having a farang boyfriend or Husband. The girls up here don’t bother travelling to Pattaya, Phuket or Bangkok to work the bars. Plus ain’t many farangs in this part of Thailand. the police up here have never gave me any hassle personally.

    I had heart attack 7 years ago and I’m on 80mg statins. Was back in the uk and had my 6 monthly MOT test and my cholesterol was a little on the high side.     Kudos to the lad for learning English. most of the kids in the village I live speak good English maybe due to the fact it’s taught to them in schools.. the older generation only speak a few words, Good morning, Hello, Etc. can’t understand why this made the news. Most of the younger Generation in Thailand have been heavily influenced by the English language, Movies, Social media. I know a few who use YouTube to learn English.

    Good ol Pattaya. Yes we Brits like to enjoy ourselves but one or two do go over the top now and then. 2 nights in Pattaya is more than enough for me before heading back to the village up North.
