I bought the "Nooz Memory Foam Topper, Mattress Pad Mixed with Cool Gel, Model Ergo Coolmax the 7 Zone." From Dreamstown on Lazada and it's the best topper I've bought in my life. I've had it almost 3 years and it's holding up well.

Using a visa agent doesn't mean he doesn't have the 800k banked or the 65k coming in monthly, it just means he doesn't want to deal with immigration so pays someone to do it for him. I use an agent and have 800k banked. While I could easily just do it myself, for the extra 2000 Bhat for the year, I choose not to waste my day. I just show up on my given date/time at immigration, have my photo taken and leave.

In all my years living here, i don't know why I'm still shocked how the left hand doesn't talk to the right hand. TAT: We have no tourist, people aren't spending money, we need more people our numbers are down AOT/CAAT: Let's raise fees for tourist coming to Thailand It's like watching a really poorly written comedy show

Not sure why everyone is up in arms, I don't see this as a bad thing at all. Actually, for those of us that live here long term, we should look at it as a positive. We all know that going to the DLT for renewals can be a headache and the place is packed with Tourist. In some cases you can't get an appointment for months. With this change we should see that greatly reduced. be eliminating all the tourist who read on the internet how easy it is to get a Thai license, but don't need one and only do it to look cool to their friends back home after holiday. The license from their country, with an IDP will work fine and is valid for the 60 days they currently get on visa exempt. I'm taking this as a win

I rarely make transactions greater than 50k, but it is a bit frustrating that if I want to walk into a store, buy a large TV as an example I can no longer do it with my SCB or Kbank accounts. While I understand UOB and BB don't have these restrictions, the question is , is it just a matter of time before they do?! I've seen many say "What's the Fuss", the fuss is the point it's my money and if I'm willing to sign a waiver, like I did before, to make "large" transactions, then I accept the risk.

I’m 100% with you, I see no reason for anyone on a tourist class of Visa, including visa exempt and DTV, to have a bank account. If people tried getting a bank account in other countries on Tourist they would be laughed out of the bank

I had a 90 day rejected due to a 1 night hotel stay locally. CM immigration said I didn’t need one, but I’ve just made it a habit of filling one out online after any nights away. Just makes life easier and I don’t have fight city hall where everyone has a different rule
