  1. No if they continue to offload the arrogant or rude thai'is with the cabin crew...????
  2. They target foreigners due to the quality tourist-one week millionnaires who freely distribute notes, till they end up broke at the airport and cannot afford even a bottle of water.
  3. Sounds like we have a bit of jealousy here.
  4. Try another Asian nation as Thailand is doomed for the quality retirees who are leaving and spending their money elsewhere.
  5. maybe they are both looking for a 4 some ?
  6. Best way to get them to act. Post-it on social media and shame it.
  7. How long must one stay in Vietnam on flying out, before comming back ?
  8. Could they have sold as they went bankrupt due to the high tea money necessary for the boyz in brown with golden wings ? Or perhaps sold as they did not want to pay the racket money to the local friendly mafia gangs if any ?
  9. The consular services in certain thai embassies are often a disgrace. Slow visa processing and absolutely no service by phone...assuming they answer, which often, they do not, The consular service in Paris never answers the phone and when the lady does, she brushes off people to find their answers on the website and that's it. Not a very positive image to encourage people to ask for visas and spend their money in Thailand.
  10. Yes, only the local networks are permitted to cheat everbody in Thailand and not those awful farang networks. So next step will be to ban Google and Apple also ?
  11. Would you know if the Bluport immigration counter handles also the TM30 ? thanks
  12. On reading some comments, one gets a fine illustration on the word "stingy". Tipping may be a yankee obligation, but in civilised Europe it is plainly a gesture of recognition to the good service - should it be after a mean of for a handyman. Having worked as a waiter to pay for college years ago, I have seen some unruly waiters/waiteresses litterally spit in the food or add a bit of "eau de toilette" directly from the loo, in the dishes of the regular known customers who were either rude or never left a small tip. Since that day, I always tipp and do never manifest any arrogance with the staff.
  13. Will they learn oneday ? The trafic police BiB, should do their job instead of constantly trying to racket money from the foreigners in Thailand on any excuse. But that is another big joke. RIP to the victims.
  14. great thank you very much
  15. What about those retractable awinings that fold in-out, made of UV resistant material-cloth ? Are they worth it in beach town areas and which material would be most appropriate ? Thnks
  16. What would be your recommendations for reliable sources who will supply say switches and other stuff on retail please ?
  17. In which property were these people in Hua Hin ? in one of those cramped overpriced farang run "pool-villa" deveioppments in Hin Lek Fai, near Black Mountain, Hua hin that seen a bargain for foreigners, look nice but full of construction and electrical flaws in building with problems that show up hardly few years of use ? Naturally the developpers will say it's not under warranty and make you shell out more money to repair their own construction negligences.
  18. ok thanks a million. The place is already built unfortunately.
  19. Thanks thought so. A real cheat that show how many developpers behave unfortunately. I was a fool to have belived him at the time. But does it require specific wiring to install a 2 way switch for a same set of lights ?
  20. I would expect the worst in a country where once a sucessful farang developper said that in Thailand the 2-way switches (for lights) were unavailable ? Is this BS true ?
  21. Had the girl been a hi-so thai , things would have obivously been different. Sad country. We all rant about it but continue to live here, so....
  22. Great suggestions. Does Ikea do delivery upto Hua Hin and also mount the furniture ? If yes for HuaHin, I assume the order has to be placed with the Ikea in Bangkok area ? or online ?
  23. Great news for those fed up with all the immigration department red tape to get to Thailand. The no-hassle 90 day evisa will be a huge success, provided they don't ask for a array of useless documents like the Thai embassies in Europe require. It is absurd, because in most EU nations, health insurance is compulsory and covers expenses abroad mainly for the French or the Swiss nationals. Not to mention their revenue that is higher then the average.
  24. I have often noticed that it is the guys who cannot or refuse to admit they are gay, who are the most hostile towards gay men or music bands that are acclaimed by the gay men communities. ????
