  1. Hi, I brake the lids of the septic tank. Impossible to find the same model at Homework, Homepro or Thaiwatsadu. I thought to use a thick tile or a rectangle concrete paving slabs for walking in the garden, but i can't find any big enough. I need 55 cm x 55 cm. I also thought about using a steel plate cut, but it's very expensive. Do you have any idea ?

    Cheers

No one has to declare "overseas income" or pay tax on it.

One has to declare assessable income that is remitted to Thailand if one is a tax resident of Thailand (in country more than 179 days per year.)  The deadline for filing a tax return is 31 March 2025 for tax year 2024.

The penalty is 1.5% surcharge per month on any taxes owed, on top of any fines that may (or may not) be levied.

Thanks for your answer, of course, i meant overseas income that is transferred to Thailand.

Moreover, my wife woks, she has a salary of around 15,000 THB per month. Do i have the right of any allowance or deduction ?

Transport Company booking page is here:

    https://tcl99web.transport.co.th/Home

or if it's just Bangkok you'll see all the lines here:

    https://www.bmta.co.th/en/bus-lines

or if you give more details of precisely what you're after you may get more targetted information.

Ok Bro, i would like to book a VIP bus (24 seats) to travel from Sai Tai Mai (southern bus sation) to krabi. Long time ago i took the 999 company, i had a very good experience. I would like to travel with the same one. I live at Korat so i would like to book online or call them but i can't find any information to do it. Cheers.

We found Roojai to be the cheapest.  Also provided excellent service when having an oops.  No argument about where the work to be done (MG dealer) or any aspect of it not being covered.  Or parts MG techs recommended.

Every ins co. & broker of ins (even our cousin) wanted 20k+, and Roojai was 13.4k, renewal, without any no claim discount, since having an oops previous year.  This for MG ZS EV, which insurance for EVs are silly priced, now.

The first year of coverage on the BEV, that we paid, was the same as the last year of coverage we paid on the same car, 2 yrs prior, but the ICE version (both MG ZSs).   So much for any pricing logic.

Thanks to share your experience, i have a MG too (Extender). Cheers.

Can you prove the money was savings from before 1-Jan-2024?  (perhaps unlikely given this was for a loan you wish to pay back - but I don't know your financial details - and I do not want to make any assumptions)

My understanding (and others can correct me if I am wrong) is if you had the money needed to payback the loan, in a foreign account prior to 1-Jan-2024 (which the RD issued in Nov-2023), then per Paw.162 you can bring it into Thailand and it will not be taxable and possibly < unsure > not assessable.  Again - others can correct me if wrong.

If it is not assessable then it need not be declared.

Thanks for your reply, absolutely that's money was saving before in my belgium bank account. What should i do to prove it ? Is it enough to provide a statement from my bank ? In that case, should i declare the 250.000 THB on march 2025. Cheers.

As far as I know Thailand does not recognize trusts but there is a provision called "controller of property" in our wills my wife have used to protect what we would leave to our grand daughter.  As we do not trust her parents or our in-laws with a chunk of money we named a cousin who successfully got his child through university and launched

  9. Hello, I would like to open a remunerated saving bank account for my 13-year-old daughter (she is Thai), which will be used only to finance her studies. So i would prefer, if it's possible, a blocked account for minimum 5 years that does not allow anyone to withdraw money. Does this exist in Thailand ? Is there any other solution ?

    Thanks for your advices !

Yes, students in full time education up to age 26 years can be claimed as a deduction....60k as I recall.

    EDIT:

Correction, 30k deduction for the first child, up to age 25 in full time deduction. Also, 30k for second child born after 2018. the link explains the details.

Thank you, 30 K even she's not my daughter ?
