Yes, students in full time education up to age 26 years can be claimed as a deduction....60k as I recall.

    EDIT:

Correction, 30k deduction for the first child, up to age 25 in full time deduction. Also, 30k for second child born after 2018. the link explains the details.

  2. Hi, i'm living near Mukdahan, married to a thai woman for 15 years, we have a child 14 years old and i own a non O visa based on marriage. The situation is very complicated with my wife. We had a lot of arguing, so she decided for now to move to another province. We didn't talk about divorced yet, but it could happen. We need a long break to think about it. What could happen if the immigration discovers we don't live together ? Cancelling my visa, fine, deport ?

Do you think i can explain the situation to an immigration officer and change my visa to a Thai child visa without get divorced ? What should i do, please ?

    Thanks for your help

  6. Hi, i have a non O was based on marriage. Last month, i paid 1 000 bahts to get a re-entry permit because i needed to visit my family in Belgium. When i came back in Thailand i have been to the thai immigration office to stamp my passport as i did 3 years ago but i was surprised because the officer ask me the copy of my passport, the tabian, the rental contract and the ID of my wife....

Is it a new rule ? She told me, i can do this online and gave me this address https://tm๓๐.immigration.go.th/ but it doesn't work. Do you have the good one ? Do i need my wife to register ? My wife is the owner of the house we live, can i provide the chanote instead of the rental contract ?

    Thanks for your help 🙂

If I understand this correctly, you pay 50% that is then HERS as is the property, if she finances the other 50% from the bank, divorced or not it has nothing to do with you.Its soley hers and her responsibility.

Divorced or not she has to pay the bank as it will be in her name.

Thanks Charlie, i know about the house, i was just worry in case i have to help to pay back the loan too...
