Charles De Menezes was shot dead by Police in 2006. That episode had absolutely nothing to do with deportations in 2024. The UK Police didn't even think that he was Brazilian and its just a coincidence that CDM and the latests deported people are from the same Country Precedent means : *an earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances.*

The Police shooting of Charles De Menezes didn't set a precedent , because it was a one off that didn't happen again .
