You could do with learning some history about the region . The only reason why Israel blockades Gaza is to stop them arming themselves and attacking Israel . If Palestinians stopped trying to arm themselves with weapons to attack Israel, then there would be no need to any blockades of any kind on Gaza . Then the obstacle to your idea would be Palsetians unwillingness to accept a two state solution

I have a differing opinion Once Hamas have been wiped out and Gaza are free from those gangsters , there could be peace if Gazians want it . They may decide that war isn't a good idea and the best thing for them would be to live a peaceful existence with Israel

This war, the 2 nd Yom Kippur war did start on Oct 7 th . The 2 nd Yom Kippur wat began on Oct 7 th when Palestinians attacked Israel, killing over 1200 people . The conflict between the two groups has been going on for much longer though
