    Not really.

If a founding member of "Straight Pride", a group that aimed to promote a positive image of straight people, raped a 12 year old girl, people would point out the irony 100%.

    That's even STUPIDER.

Straight pride events are extremely rare because straight people dominate the planet. When they are done, they're ALWAYS about fomenting homophobia.

But you could have tracked the item by getting the tracking number from your ThaiPostalMart online account when you placed the Bt100 remailer order.  There it shows your order number "and the tracking number."

I don't know why the tracking number is not shown on the order confirmation/notice....but as mentioned the tracking number is shown in the online order transaction info.

Yes but keep in mind that number will be seen as NOT FOUND until the time Thai Post picks up the envelope at the embassy.

I thought this might interest you.

The SSA now allows you to call either the US office or the Manila office to fill out and verify the information on form 7162 and the agent can attest to your signature.

This was issued as an emergency decree last year and has been renewed for this year, 2025.

I reported this a while ago based on an insider source though I didn’t have that detailed link.

Good news to hear that this policy is continuing.

Personally I would suggest mailing back the form as usual and using that if there is a problem.

Some countries don't really have post service so a huge relief for expats in those places.

Yep, headlines like this don't help the alphabet / pride pushing / drag queen reading to kids / men in ladies restrooms as being acceptable, forced on others.

No wonder so many equate those policy pushes to be nothing but grooming children.

Countering all the 'advances' over the decades of homo & bisexual choices being accepted.

    How stupid.

When there is news of a criminal straight person, you'd have to be INSANE to blame all straight people.

It appears that the proposed cuts in Medicaid are directed towards those who are able-bodied and childless, they’ll need to work or train to receive food stamps or Medicaid. Again, we’ll just have to wait and see what it looks like if/when it goes through.

    You've been snookered.

The game they're playing is to create really difficult bureaucratic hoops to go through especially for the poorest, which will result in kicking off as many people as possible. This is INTENTIONAL.

MASSIVE ... :cheesy:  Not seeing anything MASSIVE happening here:

Timed required cuts every year to Medicare.

    Reduction in services.

Medicaid cuts as stated much bigger.

    ACA too.

Regarding Trump's big bill, he appears to now have the votes in the senate to pass it soon.

The bill that will probably pass includes MASSIVE cuts to both Medicaid and Medicare.

Admittedly the cuts to Medicaid will be the more severe but it was promised that Medicare wouldn't be touched, but that turns out to be a BIG LIE.

In my opinion, the main reason long term retired American expats repatriate is because of declining health and to take advantage of Medicare/Medicaid benefits.

But with the probably imminent bill passage, both will be significantly reduced, it seems to me that reason to repatriate to the US will become less compelling especially considering all the other economic hits the repatriated face.

BTW -- you may think you're "too rich" to ever worry about Medicaid but what often happens is that people end up spending down and needing long term care paid by Medicaid. You probably can't afford privately paid long term care.

I don't often comments on emoji responses, but I'm really wondering why I got even one (so far) down vote on this post.

    What's the problem?

You don't believe the bill includes massive cuts to Medicaid and Medicare?

You don't like to hear anything that reflects badly on Trump's policies even if they are his policies accurately represented?

You're mad I didn't call it the big "beautiful" bill? I was tempted to call it the big ugly bill which is my opinion, but I restrained myself for the sake of discussion of a bipartisan topic. I also didn't mention the obvious reason for these cuts -- to help fund cutting taxes for the RICHEST Americans which is of course immoral and obscene.

You don't think people in declining health sometimes repatriate for Medicare/Medicaid?

Judging by what Police Lieutenant Colonel Surakrit said, it is a requirement at all offices. Should be starting as of now.
Like all other tax subjects, it is all very vague and do not believe the rumour of no tax implications on remittances brought in during 2024/25. Nothing has been passed in regulations.

Color me skeptical, but I do NOT believe that.

    Wait for actual reports.

The remittance tax at any level is stupid and pointless, but American citizen senders were exempted in all versions of the bill so far.

"There is an exception to the excise tax if the sender is a U.S. citizen or national who uses a qualified remittance transfer provider (QRTP). A QRTP is an RTP that enters into a written agreement with the U.S. Department of the Treasury and agrees to verify that the sender is a U.S. citizen or national."

Exempted but in previous version may have had it withheld for future irs refund.

  11. In case you don't know about this channel, it's amazing and it's creator is a wonderful human being.

He is no longer Inside Russia but is very educated on economic and energy industry topics and has extensive contacts in country.

There is even entertainment value on his weekly Crazy Russia News offering.

I'm posting this about his problem with google demonetization. He's in a real Kafkaesque situation and it's very unfair.

It's looking hopeless now but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas that might still give some hope?
