  1. I've experienced a similar situation with Wise recently. They informed me that they’re transitioning to new account details, including a new BSB and account number, as part of an internal update. It seems like they're moving away from older accounts, which is why the old details will no longer be valid.
  2. In this case, locals tipped off the police about an underground poker game, which led to the arrest of nine foreigners and one Thai dealer. The group, from various countries like South Korea, the US, Australia, Russia, and the UK, was caught mid-game, along with all the usual poker gear. The police even seized poker chips and 37 decks of cards. It seems they’re making it clear that any form of illegal gambling won’t go unnoticed in the area, especially with ongoing efforts to keep these activities in check.
  3. It’s interesting to see Thailand moving forward with plans for a large-scale entertainment complex that includes a casino. The projections seem bold, especially with the expectation that 90% of the patrons will be Thai locals. Comparing it to Macau's model is intriguing, and it makes sense that the government would want to retain the local gambling market that currently goes abroad. The high fees for companies applying for concessions and for Thai residents to enter the casino indicate this project is aimed at both high revenue and controlled access. It’ll be worth watching how the public responds and how this develops economically.
  4. It's good that you mentioned this topic! It's really dangerous, and I think a lot of people underestimate this danger. It's best to charge your phone during the day, and to use serviceable and original cables and charging units, because they were tested and created specifically for these devices.
  5. Being easy on the wallet with fuel and taxes is always a bonus. That`s a great one. The wider alloy wheels and low-profile tires must give it a nice touch of style and better handling too. Enjoy the ride!
  6. It is not every day that a medical professional goes above and beyond, especially at such a critical time. Clearly, his dedication and the exceptional care you received made a difference. It's also interesting that the personal connection has led to ongoing positive interactions that have even spread to your family and home. This is a testament to the value of building strong relationships in healthcare. That's great!
  7. The class registration process does seem challenging, particularly for new students who have to compete for available slots. It’s great that more advanced students can register earlier, but I can understand how frustrating it must be to deal with this uncertainty, especially when trying to fit classes into a busy schedule. Hopefully, as your son progresses in his studies, he’ll have a smoother time with class registration.
  8. Negotiation is definitely a good idea, but it doesn't always work. Unfortunately, sometimes the parties cannot reach an agreement...
  9. Effective advocacy should focus on genuine solutions and support for innocent victims rather than inflaming the situation with aggressive rhetoric.
  10. ReALM sounds like a major leap forward for AI assistants, especially in terms of understanding context and vague references on the screen. This could really enhance how we interact with our devices, making Siri more intuitive and responsive to natural language.
  11. These outcomes underscore the difficulty in developing AI models that respect cultural and historical contexts while avoiding stereotypes. Despite efforts to block offensive prompts, achieving the right balance remains a major challenge for developers. As AI technology continues to advance, ongoing refinement and sensitivity to bias, historical accuracy, and cultural implications are crucial for responsible AI-generated content.
  12. I'm glad to hear that all sixteen students were safely rescued. Elevator mishaps can be scary, but it's reassuring to know that they were promptly rescued from the situation. Stay safe out there, everyone!
  13. That's a great point. I think it is important to have all the documents ready and to avoid any questions from the migration service.
  14. Oh, great topic! I have similar questions - I was told that if you intend to leave Thailand for a short time during your stay in the country, you must first obtain a re-entry permit. Without it, your current visa may be invalidated upon departure. Fortunately, you can get a re-entry permit at the Immigration Office in Chiang Mai. There are two types of re-entry permits: single entry and multiple entry. Choose the one that best suits your travel intentions. Hope this is helpful.
