When you say "hydrated", was that you soaked a compressed brick of coir? Coir should be rinsed several times before treating which should be water and calcium nitrate with a EC 2.0 for 24 hours before use. CalMag should be added with your nutrients. rice555

Hello All, I think that cuttings from rooting compounds in coir is much simpler, with good results, 10 out of 12. My first time. From cuttings to transplanting in 2 weeks+, outdoors on my porch. Hand watering with a syringe for 3 days, watering can for 4 days and back to syringe with 10% of my nute's for 4 days. Then full strength nute's, no real transplanting shock.

Try using "google", then switch the search to images from "All" and lookout the Lazidia<sp> and Shoppe. IThis product line is noire like snake oil. The micros should be in the "B" part of a normal 2 part A-B grow/bloom. Humic Acid works with soil microbes, not found in coir. Thrive is basically vitamin "B", an $$ bottle of water. If you want to use "B", use one pill in every 100L of nute's and you use the rest. If you have good treated coir and good nute's, you don't need "Cal-Mag". Pic. 1. DIY treated coir. Pic. 2. WESCO has other formulations of their Crystalline fertilizer. I've used it in dripline fertagation. They also sell all you need for Hydro Nute's.
