  2. Having not tried the new LOS craze , I'm saving my $ to the stop between SEATAC and the Bainbridge Is. ferry in a few weeks. At the LOS prices, I would like to see a lab certified THC%. You can't use www. and Shoppe #'s. rice555
  3. 5555555555 Light color and their K as a quick guide. LED Gardner Forum(will be closing in July) has guides for building LED strip lighting. Bridgelux. and Samsung, below is the wiring guide. They give you a light size and strip choice. With your choice, they have a parts list for the DIY build. You can buy from what ever store you want. My Bridgelux Gen 3 4000K and Cutter Electronic from down under, with 2000K Nicha chips.. The Bridgelux strips are from DigiKey, Free shipping on orders over U$50. Cutter does high end strips and boards. Shipping from OZ to LOS is high. The sheet aluminum and the L-angle aluminum I got close to The Mall Korat. 6. I always get it backwards, it's "RIU"., not RUI. LOS pot news is listed there under World Pot News and a LOS grower showing his grow. Some of the RIU Forum Topics. <deleted>/EC meters and what I use for pH. rice555
  7. I find that these small cubes from Marko work well for starting seed. I make 6 small dranage holes, I use a Bt. 120. electric soldering for making the holes. I also use coir as a starting substrate. Bags of untreated coir I treat all coir I use. As from posts from others in the past on TV-Farming Forum, just because it says "Treated", doesn't mean it's treated. "Always Test". Bt. 100. per bag. If your doing hydro, I would try(for ease of use) the premix liquid from Accent Hydro TH. You can google them. They are in BKK. It's a two part mix (A-B) Grow and they have a Bloom A-B. They have several sizes, the small one is about Bt. 500. I think? The main thing about the nute's is that in have all the micro's and other salts that plants need to grow. The mixing info is easy to adapt to for the size of your nute storage(jug/barrel/tank), I use the blue barrels pictured in my last post for water catchment. Till you learn about growing hydro, keep good notes. If you have small storage for nute's, get a 10/20cc syringe, one for A and B to measure out into the water. Always go low on the A-B, you can add more if needed, you can't add more water to a small jug. Check what the pH of your water source, I'm using rain water, I don't check pH. Growing hydro in LOS almost 22 years now. Never had a pH meter, just check with a aquarium test kit(Bt.100). I would recommend you get an EC meter, the last ones I got on AliX, think around U$ 8., I got 3, and check them against each other. I still use my old meter from Accent. Blue Lab also make a good one.($$). I weigh and mix my own nute's, I would use 1/2 strength of my regular EC 2.1 to EC 2.8 for Veggie's. With the A-B from from Accent Hydro, I would try EC 1.3 to EC 1.7 and see how they respond. Maybe start a few Tom's at the same time to help learn hydro. It's not all donkey dicks and 2 KG. plants from the start, there's a learning curve. Go through posts on RUI on the net for more knowledgeable people than me. The treatment for coir, calcium nitrate/water at EC 2.0 for a day, rinse good and plant. I make a 3 part(A-B-C) for general nute's . 4 part with some.plants. The blue jugs are 20L. Always keep your nute's out of the sun, store in the shade.
