  1. You're saying that I need to file in person bc I left the country ? I have filed online after reentry without any problem. I have scheduled an in person appointment. Will bring my TM30. Thanks a lot.
  2. I did put March 27
  3. I just booked an appointment to do it in person so it will be quick and easy (fingers crossed). CW is not around the corner but it's no big deal. Thanks.

  5. Usually there are many questions about filing late but this is different. I think this isn't a problem but I filed too early on-line. Had I not re-entered Thailand 27March 2025 my 90 day would have been due 3June. I file online. I received a notification from Imm that it was due and filed today not remembering my reentry. Should I go ahead and cancel the report I did today or will they just reject it and if so will that cause a problem later on ? Thank you
  6. Hi. Try this. Worked for me. Good Luck https://tm30.immigration.go.th/TM30/Foreigner/TM30EN/index.html
  7. Not sure about the window to file on-line, certainly not true in my case. My last next reporting date for 90 day was Jan 1 2025. I filed on-line on Dec 17 and was approved within 48 hours. This was at Division 1 Chaeng Wattana.
  8. OK. When I extended 23 December 2024 I still had the 800K in the bank, properly seasoned in case my proof of income wasn't adequate for them. But I also showed the IO my bank statement with 12 consecutive deposits of > 65K baht. Kasikorn will provide (though not stamped and signed) a credit advice for each month showing when the overseas deposit was made, how much it was for and where it came from (in my case USA SSI). He looked at them checked the dates and compared it to the credit amounts on my bank statement for those days and confirmed it was good. So this extension was based on income. I was done in less than 1 hour. Easiest extension I've done to date.
  9. I kept the 800K in the bank just in case IO didn't approve my documentation regarding income but he just nodded and said OK, no problem. To have to meet any of the conditions of the lump sum method to me doesn't make sense. Thanks
  10. Yes. I can't imagine not having good medical insurance. If I can't get insurance here having an O type vs O-A is irrelevant.
  11. So I still need to maintain 800K even though my extension is based on Income ? Same as before, 3 months after 2 months before ? I've considered switching to non O but will maintain current insurance coverage so I see no advantage.
  12. Hi all. Previous years I've extended OA Retirement based on 800K bank balance method. Today I extended based on Income and I do have required 800K as well. Should have asked the IO but didn't so I'm a little unclear if I need to maintain any balances in my bank account, ie 3 months after or 2 months before next extension. I hope to extend based on Income from now on. Done at Immigration Div 1 Chaeng Wattana. Made an appointment on line and was walking out after only 1 hour. Not a terrible experience. Thank you everyone.
  13. I will get it at the airport if I cant get it at CW but I'm the type that expects the taxi or train breaks down on the way. I hate leaving things for last minute
  14. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all, I've scheduled an appointment at CW Bangkok to extend Retirement Visa for Dec 23. I also am trying to schedule an appointment for a Re-Entry Permit on the same day. The month grid offers 23Dec as an option but when I click that date I get the message "The available booking period is insufficient for your number of people.". Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Should I just present the required docs for re-entry permit to IO when extending Visa or queue up for an appointment upon arrival on Dec 23. Thanks
  15. What is your impression of his opponent, Kamala Harris?
  16. I received an OA Retirement Visa from Thailand Embassy in NYC and when I arrived in Thailand I opened a bank account w/o any problem by just transferring money in from my USA account.
  17. When I did my Non OA extension last year at CW I was leafing through my documents for the map of my condo and IO saw TM30 in the pile and asked for it. I hadn't been asked for it up to then and am not sure she would have asked had she not seen it.
  18. I did that recently at Div 1 and had to get a bank statement and letter.
  19. My current O_A extension expires Jan 7 2025 By leaving w/o reentry permit it becomes invalid right? USA citizen i get 60 days and with funds seasoned I shouldn't have any issue at CW with getting O Retirement am I correct ?
  20. Hi. I surrently hold Non Imm O-A retirement Visa and wish to convert to type O. I have the financial requirements both lump sum and income. If i leave w/o re-entry invalidating current visa do I just re-enter, get 60 day visa exempt stamp then head to CW Bangkok with O app and documents for new Visa ? Will I need evidence of onward travel to get 60 days ? Thanks.
  21. Hi. I bank with Kasikorn where my monthly USA SS! checks (>65K baht) are directly deposited. Since US Embassy doesn't provide income affidavits any longer what can I present to Immigration to show that these monthly deposits qualify? Curious not only because of my ability to use Combo method but straight up income methond for extebstion. Thanks.
  22. Last time I was there, I think it was Jan 2024, I walked towards the prior station and at the head of the Soi to the right there were courtesy Songtaews that took you to the building. Don't know if that is still available.
