The first 6 cities I want to do are Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nong Khai, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen and Korat. Any place that offers monthly rentals can be guesthouse, hotel or condo. Any suggestions please add. Budget is 5,000 to 15,000. I would also like to add in Hua Hin, Luang Prabang and Siem Reap later on. I'm exciting about doing this. Should be great way to see each city from different angles.

Condo - cafe - condo - lunch - condo - cafe - condo - afternoon snack - condo - dinner With guesthouses that do monthly rentals it should be easy to get a room inspection but not sure with proper condos. I worked out a nice loop to do in Chiang Mai. Then be off to Chiang Rai. I think it would be a good day out. See different parts of a city and different room types. Then at the end of the day you have a better overall view of a city.

I'm thinking of doing condo tours in every major city. Use the app drivers and visit 5 condos in different locations plus check out the cafe and restaurant scene in each location. Talk to people in each location. In one day you have a good idea what a city is like.

Yes all the apps are good. Saves dealing with taxis or tuk tuks.

How does any business make a profit? By being busy. Buy a bike for 50,000 baht and rent it for 200 baht a day you need to rent it for 250 days to get your money back but then you have maintenance. It might not be busy more than 33% of the year so take you 2.5 years to make get money back. Kind of a side business to add to a guesthouse.

The best food court in a Central Mall is the Airport plaza in Chiang mai. None of the others I've been to were any good. Khon Kaen one is tiny, Udon is bland good.

Hua Hin be better if less Bangkokians go. Fairly nice place when not crowded.

Yes movies are so realistic.

Don't eat in tourist restaurants. The restaurants I eat in are cheap, good and they don't expect a tip, maybe just small change.

All cycles are dangerous at night plus all buses. The only safe night travel are cars and trains and planes.

Lots of young people like Thailand. The islands are full of young people.

Still 3,000 to 5,000 baht cheap rentals elsewhere then better ones at double. Pattaya is full of westerners so demand has pushed prices up.

Millions of foreigners are flying in.

Buddhist monks don't have much. At least the junior ones who don't steal.

I don't know. What happened? How much do you spend a day on average?

Beer isnt cheap in Thailand. I think drinking is expensive.

Why worry about 20 years ahead? Nobody can predict 12 months ahead.

Like worrying about climate and wars.

Cut back on the drinking.

Easy to avoid Russians, don't stay in the areas they live. Most of them would be in Phuket and Pattaya.
