Best honda lawn mower on the market (medium size)
I also have had the same Honda mower for 12 yrs. Yes it is heavier (46kg dry) then most mowers but it's worth it for me.Honda equipment is always heavier as examples outboard motors, weed eaters and generators. I mow about .5 rai and would say I mow 18 times a year. I have never had a mower that performed as well as this HRJ216K2. It is easy to work on I've done all the repairs and maintinance my self. Several things have really amazed me about this mower. I've never had a bag last as long and have never replaced it. I do wash it out after every mow. The capacity of the bag is greater compared similar size mowers. I'll admit the you have to put some muscle into pulling the bag and dumping it but very easy to reinstall when empty. Second thing is if takes more then 4 pulls to start. I have found that usually the plug is getting old. and when I change and it starts on the 1st pull. Another thing I do is I always slow the engine down to idle for 5 seconds before shutting it down. If the mower has been sitting for 15 minute or more I always choke the engine before starting on the first pull. I always use 91 or 95 octane. I have tried lower octane but it appeared to have less power and harder to start. Ok now the big things that Honda really ought to improve, This mower has a disc that attaches to the shaft, The blades have a keyed hole and a flatsided bolt to fit that disc. This must have been an idea that Mrs. Johnsons 4th grade came up with, even if torqued to Honda's specs. Even if torqued to Honds's specs + 50%. I couldn't believe it when I went to clean after mowing and 1 blade was back 30 degrees and I never hit anything other then tall grass. This isn't just me as I've talked to others that had the same issue. So I welded a small bead down the sides of the blades. Ok improvement # 2 , An oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine, It looks really stupid to have to turn your mower over sideways to change the oil. That's a Chinese patent to turn your mower sideways to change oil and you would think the Japanese would be embarassed seeing their mower turned side ways to change oil. Ok parts at Honda and their price is crazy money. You can easily buy blades, air filters, and etc on Lazada at 150% less So in summary I love my mower but it took 2 years to make it a good mower.

I am simply amazed on how there are so many experts on California construction in this forum. I just wonder how many of them have actually been to Southern California. And of the ones that have been there did they get off of the freeways? Then in response to Flyguy330 that said "All fake, like so much else about the USofA." Where are you from? And why do you make comments that you don't have clue about the subject. There is reason they build with wood and maybe you should Google it instead of spending your time yapping your mouth about things you don't understand.- Honda HRJ-216

That video in Pranburi is the one the most silly things I have ever watched.- PEA advises on cost-effective air conditioners amid Thai heat
Correct my panels are 520W. I have 5 panels each facing N,S,E,W. This time of year my panels reach 6-7 KWH around noon. Run my pool pump 4-5 hrs/day during the day. Don't run air con much in the day. All are big fans. It's amazing when you look at power comsuption on many of the applances such as fans, oven, dryer, and even hair dryers. So batteries are 100% charged usually before 2pm. If you are interested I have a data from past electric bills for last 3 yrs vs. with solar. And Bday Prang what are you talking about?- PEA advises on cost-effective air conditioners amid Thai heat
I replaced the air con in our (myself and wife) bedroom recently. I did this after I had a 20KW solar system with 20 panels installed. The old air con had the blower unit in the ceiling and so aesthetically it looked good. I noticed after installing the solar I would see the 20 KW batteries would be down to 20-30% . I changed the bedroom to an invertor wall mount air con 12,000 BTU ( wasn't sure what the ceiling air con was as I couldn't find any numbers on it, I was told when I bought the house (2010) it was a 12,000 BTU unit). So monitoring the panel on the invertor I could see KWH and the invertor was 60% power use of the ceiling air con using the same temp setting 27C and same run time. I have since changed out 4 air cons at our other houses in Thailand for invertor air con. Both the blower unit and compresssor unit are very quiet.. Besides saving money they cool off very quickly.- Unkown speeding ticket.
