  1. Both onto behind bars at the same time.
  2. Today's High THB, mostly caused by the influx of speculative fund from outside. Due to this nation's sound economy: 1-Current Account Balance):Unlike most 1st world nations, it is strongly in Black. 2-GDP:DEBT ratio: Around 60%; still under control. 3-Huge Foreign Exchange Reserve(USD 242 Billion). You can easily check out these info with goodle... thai currenc account balance - Google Search thai gdp-debt ratio - Google Search thailand foreign exchange reserve amount - Google Search Ironically, more tourists come in here, Higher THB will be. Millions foreign visitors change their money into this nation's currency:THB, during their stay. Just the same effect as Mass THB Buying by those from outside...
  3. Chiang Mai, also called "Rose of the North". Since late 2005, I have happily settled here. 20 years on, never got tired of this great place...
  4. Good morning. Today's breakfast: Chunky Bread Curry Stew. Ingredients: White bread(chopped into dice), carrot, eggplant, onion, potato, chicken thighs, snake beans (chopped up), tofu(bean curd), and water. I put in all of the pre-cooked stuff, to clear inside my fridge, for the planned defrosting. *Bread can be any kinds. Seasonings: Chicken stock, curry powder, soy, oyster, BBQ sauce, and ketchup.
  5. Supplementary Income(often bigger than "salary") comes in a Brown Envelop?
  6. I wish it impacts Poo-tin's palace. Or Ural underground bunker where that SO* is hiding.
  7. I am a Non-Drinker, myself. But often felt that restriction stupid. It looks like mostly intended to prevent minors from buying alcohol beverage during their school hours. If so, they only need to check buyers' age(with their national ID card, Thais are always required to carry around).
  8. she has since undergone four surgeries to remove infected tissue, incurring medical expenses of £15,300 (approximately 651,000 baht) so far. Did she go to pricy private hospital? Instead of the less expensive public one?
  9. Sounds reasonable. Being older, would not automatically mean they are any smarter. Even though, they better be...
  10. Hi, thank you for detailed scientific explanation. You seem to know a lot about Astrophysics about which I am totally unfamiliar with. Referring to Armageddon, I remembered that they intended to ”split" the asteroid by explosion, and its broken pieces narrowly miss the Earth(if it was done in time). And that critical timing was named Zero Barrier. In the world we live in, 6000km something is a huge distance. But on a cosmic scale, it looks fairly tiny figure, doesn't it? And it determines the fate of our world.

  12. If the Earth Killer hit this planet, Crustal Tsunami is likely to happen. And its speed is as fast as the sound. crustal tsunami - Google Search
  13. What kind of countermeasure can be taken if that asteroid is on the collision course with the Earth? Launching a nuke missile to destroy it? Or do they send someone out to set the high explosive charge on that damned space rock?
  14. In order to dig 800feet deep hole on that rock, to set the nuke device to blow it away.
  15. Thai man approached him, engaged in small talk, and stayed nearby for 5–10 minutes. Shortly after, he realised his bag had been unzipped and several valuable items were missing.. Typical trick of the pickpocketing by more than one. One draws victim's attention during which another does his job. 78 YO novice is the perfect sitting duck them. Loss of 1400B, just like a lesson fee to him, for the reasonable level of security precaution in unknown places...
  16. Can check in anytime they like, but can never leave(at will). Like Hotel California...
  17. Absolutely. Quite sickening to treat criminal offenders like hotel guests. Especially when they ruined life of the innocent(physically, psychologically, or financially).
  18. Indeed. I felt in the same way. That way, it becomes useful resources, instead of waste.
  19. Most of the 1st world criminals busted here, are often so ignorant of Thailand. They believe as if the prison system here is as soft as theirs. That's why their psychological hurdle is so low before they start something illicit here. But to their regret, it is a lot more punishing than in their home countries...
  20. Especially, eyes. They often speak louder than words...
  21. Omitting Travellers' first principal: Study destination before leaving home...
  22. Another check in of Quality Tourist at Hotel Ban Kwang(AKA Bkk Hilton)...
  23. Heavily reliant on mass tourism. It is one of the Typical Third World Business/Economic models. Easiest way to bring in foreign money, without doing anything special. Simply opening up their border. Then curious (monied) aliens flock in. This country simply has no enough jobs to keep all of their workers employed on regular basis. That is also the reason why so many people must be self-employed(as the street vendors) here.
  24. The police might haven't collected finger prints at the crime scene.
