Less than from speeding drivers. why do all the car manufacturers produce cars that can go 200km plus? why is that allowed? why are not all cars fitted with speed controllers?

I agree during drunk on a motorcycle is quite risky. Booze affects your balance and you need balance for two wheels.

He isn’t making it worse. He hasn’t killed anyone. You wouldn’t even know about it if he had not have been so honest and told you. You and your mate Lou are carrying on like a two bobwatch.

Great post mate.

These self righteous posers are not dealing with reality, they are in a woke dream land. No wonder they have no social life. Go to any pub tonight and you will see people driving home after having a few. Millions are doing it all over the world right now.

99% of drunk drivers don’t kill anybody. Are you insane? Please keep it real.

You are statistically wrong. Highly unlikely.

I am not saying everyone can do it. Many people certainly shouldn’t. Some people, most people, do it their entire lives and it is never an issue. Sorry if that reality offends you. it is what it is.

Most people do it. The only people who do not realize this is the ones that stay home every night imagining stuff. Pubs and restaurants have car parks, not taxi ranks.

It is. I usually pull over to the side of the road when using my phone. Only takes a few seconds. All your other imagined scenarios are just in your mind. You should get out more.

It happens when you go out drinking 4,500 times over 30 years.

Not bragging, just stating the facts. sorry if it is not PC or woke enough for you. i would say most drinkers on this forum would drink drive. they just don’t say it because the puritans will harp on like you and others are. And I find an American talking about me hypothetically talking about an imaginary child I will kill a bit rich considering you guys are supplying the bombs that are actually killing kids everyday.

Well, we were not going to tell you. But anyway, your mum says to say hello.

I think it is worse. When drunk I am watching the road.

Having some hot flushes and feeling grumpy this morning are we dear? Can I suggest some evening primrose oil?

My father was probably better than me as he did use to speed (as he always did) and also never had an accident. lets be clear, I DO a adjust my driving when drunk for safety (and legal) reasons. And with nearly 5,000 journeys without incident I have proven to myself that my technique is a proven winner.

You just stay home, sober, looking out over the dam through your faux French windows listening to the grandfather clock ticking away until you fall off the perch. It won’t be long now mate.

I thought 900 sounded a bit low. That is a lot of money saved by not paying for taxis unnecessarily. it adds up.

In the case of Woofs father I would say probably.

You are giving off the self righteous vibes, not me. I am just stating the reality.

And they enjoy their lives, and make it home. If I had to catch taxis everytime my social life would have been significantly diminished

Quite exceptional circumstances and I agree he should not have been to driving in that situation. i am for sensible drink driving. Some of my friends ( mostly when younger) I would not get in a car drunk with because they drove like idiots when drunk.

Some sober idiot on a phone runs into me.

drink and driving
Hundreds of my friends over the years have also done it and ALL have made it safely home unless being stopped by police. What is a bit trickier is when having quite a few beers then you hit the bong. That is when (occasionally) you have to close one eye so to stop the double vision and slow down a bit more.
