  1. Western Bulldogs board friend. Same team colours as Thailand too
  2. They've probably grown up watching the Hangover II think Thailand is idyllic and Bangkok is a short speed boat ride away from Phuket.
  3. Yeah I think mine is broken, I've been trying to put Charlie H on ignore but it's not working
  4. Yeah cash for me is not the issue, I just wasn't sure if the lucky sod fee was a myth or no longer exists or whether it's a legitimate transaction Great advice friend, a really classy post. A shame there aren't more posters like you around here talking sensibly and with maturity
  5. The missus keeps dropping hints when we get married one day about a bridal prices. She calls it sin sod which apparently means "lucky sod" fee a husband pays the in law family. Is this really a thing? I have asked google but the answers are even more confusing. Also, is there some kind of warranty or money back guarantee with bride prices if she says she can cook but really can't or can I get insurance for it? Would appreciate any advice, and preferably not from the tourists in Thailand who only come for sex but from blokes in proper relationships with experience. Thanks
  6. I took it to mean easy going; I.e the women don't nag him. It seems you're part of the assumption brigade here mate thinking he's a sex tourist
  7. Yellow Fever probably one of the few rational and sensible posters I've come across on the forum who isn't in Thailand to be a sex pest. He speaks a lot of sense
  8. They've been trading salt for years and surely the Thai's have discovered the tomato by now. The food is very missionary and dull without any creativity
  9. Fantastic Thread, well done OP. Other than muay Thai and occasionally golf, the Thai's have failed to reach their sporting potential. They should focus more on swimming given their proximity to the sea. It's also difficult when the infrastructure is on par with Adelaide
  10. OP a pillock, probably had to leave his own country in shame and disgrace so is just grateful to be accepted
  11. You're embarrassing yourself here friend and melting down. Show a bit of grace and humility and move along to another thread to derail
  12. It'll obviously be above your price range and affordability but if I have a spare table, I'll give you my monger's discount and you can pay half price
  13. I'm thinking of putting some of the money I cashed out from my dent repair business into an Aussie-Thai fusion restaurant. Green curry pies, kangaroo bahm mi and sweet and sour steak
  14. All they need is a bit of salt, tomato sauce and more bulkier meat meals and it would be elite
  15. The first sensible thing you've said all week mate
  16. Yeah he was rambling on worse than a Mr Abbott policy speech, I was saving him from further embarrassment and doing the forum a favour
  17. If you're not going to contribute kindly remove yourself from the thread, there's no need to carry on like a pork chop
  18. Well said and so much truth in this, my thoughts exactly
  19. It's good how Thailand is accepting of your diverse alternative lifestyle mate
  20. Disagree mate, it's all essentially the same with the tried and true spices and herbs; just the meat, noodles / rice changes
  21. Came to meet someone and be in a relationship, and have ticked this box
  22. I'm 3 weeks here and beginning to get sick of it tbh. I spent this afternoon training my Thai girlfriend how to make a chicken parmingana with chips and tomato sauce. All foods seem to rely on the same few spices I have noticed and lack salt. So once you've had a Tom yum, you've basically had green curry, bahm mi, pad Thai and all other local cuisines. The vegetables and herbs are all pretty much the same across dishes too. Don't get me wrong, Thai food is delicious but I think it gets a bit overrated after 3 straight weeks. Does anyone else feel the same?
  23. I'm helping boost the desirable side and am a respectful unit
  24. Mods can we do something about this poster? He is clearly here to spam and make nuffy threads
