  1. You should never cancel a transfer that is already brought on the way! Even any support person tells you… As your transfer details are a little weak, even the high transfer amount is mentioned, the transfer could have been Stuckes for several legal reason. - Transfer exceeds the Sender Country Limit, wherewith further legal examinations are to be considered - From and to Bank account holders vary causes further legal investigations - The reason for transfer might probably not fit to the in the backside available consistent rules which automatically blocks a transfer for further investigation Only a few of legal reasons that might lengthen the duration for transfer... Usually Wise is very trustworthy and reliable with their transfers, even it might take a couple of seconds or a certain amount of days. Good luck to you.
  2. I would be very happy all tech companies would take it more serious, as it is also their reputation. But a high income has more importance than satisfied customers. A. Every business which wants to set up a seller account should at least pass their tax ID through, to get a. better trust and transparency b. eliminating the redundant amount of shops seller create to have the most attention. B. I often miss technical details, specially for electronic devices to be able to compare. Trading in a global environment means every product also needs a unique product ID from the manufacturer which allows the consumer to align the measures, technical facts and available CE certificates. If the tech companies would even set on these simple information, we would become more safe, more confidence on what we buy and probably spend more money. To be honest, my experience is, that the e-commerce shops are even willed to pay you your expenses back instead of cleaning up untrustworthy sellers. I meanwhile deleted the one or other app. I am sick and tired to explain myself for the problems caused by unreliable sellers but they obviously give a <deleted> to consumer’s opinion.
  3. Yes, that’s it. (Inexpensive) cold cuts are missed so much and there is a huge variety you like to have on your table! Smoked salmon is another ‘must have’. As well as any kind of fish/ shrimps prepared in mayonnaises. There is indeed a huge variety too! 🤤Lucky you, when you have a good bakery in Thailand (everything too soft will usually be avoided by Germans). Crispy buns (I.e. made with malted multigrain flour) are preferred. Or sourdough bread with or without grains. Maybe the pressed coffee is not typical German, here you mainly find a filtered brew. The Germans avoid fatty dishes in the morning (alike the English breakfast style), that comes later maybe for lunch (I.e. Pork nuckle with Sauerkraut, etc. )😉as a first schnapps (fruit brandy) may follow. In all, once you have all this in your fridge, it will not take long to prepare the breakfast table as for n English breakfast). I miss all that stuff quite a bit but living in Thailand is a very good alternate 😁
  4. IMO Thailand has not really any own products, they finally have the cheaper manufacturing sites to manufacture them for foreign companies, nor?
  5. The theory often looks different than the reality, nor? Haven’t the big American companies moved their productions out of the country years ago, due to the greed they have/ had? They all follow the caravan of low cost production tourism not always leaving fair circumstances behind. The tremendous change that Donald might have in mind, will take years, even the outcome remains unsure. Even consider the previous chip industry in America, which had the huge pressure of developing and manufacturing double speed chips by halving the price every couple of years led to the painful export of the entire industry to far east where skills and willingness was available. As the results of manufacturing high end products with even these chips brought enough money back in the pockets of these companies. That’s win win for both sides, nor? I feel very sorry for the people in America, who’s life wasn’t already easy. Their uncertainties become even worse. We Europeans love(d) the trust we have in reliable social securities (especially in healthcare and old-age pensions), even they are not always well balanced anymore after other nations need to flee from their countries. But that is another story… Anyway, I loved to see the calculations from Donald. I’m afraid he is punching in every other nations stomach, well knowing nobody is able to valuate and prove within shortest time. Isn’t the world receiving paid services from all the American tech companies worth multi billons of dollars that are almost excluded from any tax systems?
  6. Are you really still paying tax in your previous living country? TBO, i also checked out from paying tax from where I receive my pension. Therefore the DTA might not be valid for me. Maybe I am naive, but I believe a. pensioners in Thailand are tax accountable, but b. the tax amount for pensioners in Thailand remains 0%. Until there are any further valid information from the Thai Tax Dept I will not do anything. Don’t trust all the surrounding information that come from third hand!
  7. A happy end story that cannot be shared enough. I really miss stories like this. Trust in the positive things of human nature, we definitely have too many bad news that let you doubt about being friendly and giving hospitality to strangers.
  8. Upps, I believed this was about healthy Thai food. What a pity!
