  1. You sound like a high quality individual. Congratulations. I think you might have taken Euros if there was a profit in there for you.
  2. Wow...some angry people on this board. "sissy boys" certainly dominated the situation. Didn't they? So perhaps the taxi driver was the 'sissy'? Either way, your responses seem way over the top.
  3. Why so angry? There was no attack over the fare, the response was to the taxi driver going to his car to retrieve a weapon.
  4. They paid 570 baht + 50 baht. Where was the 'free ride'? The attack was in response to the taxi driver going to his car to retrieve a weapon.
  5. You are ranting and missing the point. The fare is not the issue. They paid the fare, but didn't agree with the extra 200 baht. Instead offering 50 baht. The taxi driver went to his car to retrieve a weapon and the boy ran at him to disarm him. I don't know if you've been to Thailand before, but negotiations are the norm. It's the taxi driver who escalated to violence.
  6. Really? The FACT that I stated that polarisation takes place in the mind read as an attack to you? You are proving my point. You take an innocent and factual statement and extrapolate that I am the reason for polarisation. Is that is normal balanced thinking? Seems weird to me.
  7. That backfired pretty quickly didn't it? Positive responses to my post and none to yours. It's just you looking for an argument....in your head. What I wrote makes perfect sense and has nothing to do with politics or taking sides. You, in your mind, decided to practice polarisation. It takes place in our minds. Where did the "Vote Biden 2024" come from? Your mind. It didn't occur to me at all. You want to blame MSM for your thinking?
  8. So detail your analysis of what took place, using the report and the evidence in the video. Why do you think there was space between them when the boy ran at him? They surely were standing together, so the driver must have walked away to go to his car. The boy used his foot to deflect any possible weapon and then walked away immediately. There was no attempt to beat the driver. Interested to read your take on the events.
  9. The topic concerns Germany, so perhaps you are the dumb one.
  10. It isn't. Where do you think the polarisation takes place then, genius?
  11. Looks to me that the taxi driver went to get a weapon and the boy kicked it out of his hand.
  12. Weird. Do you imagine that everyone on the board is from the USA? What's wrong with you? Drunk at this time of the morning?
  13. I think it was self defence. The driver went to his car as if to retrieve a weapon and the boy ran at him to disarm him. A few here looking to find fault with the tourists, rather than putting the pieces together. There's good reason why the driver doesn't want to take it further.
  14. The cost should be reasonable. Did he take them back to their original disembarkation point or leave them at the currency exchange, but still demand an extra 200 baht? What was the distance? They obviously thought that part of the journey was worth no more than 50 baht. Greedy and violent taxi driver got his comeuppance.
  15. How would 'the article' know their nationality and what bearing would it have anyway? There seems to be a motley crew of Far Right elements on this board. Always agitating.
  16. Yes, I do. Do you? He got 570 baht PLUS 50 baht. They refused to pay more and he went to his car as if to get a weapon. That's why the boy ran to him, to disarm him. They weren't interested in fighting. You can see how far away they were from the taxi in the first place. That means the taxi driver walked away from them and went back to his car as if to retrieve something. After disarming him, they walked away quickly. Obviously not interested in any altercation. The taxi driver was in the wrong and he knew it. He threatened them and got embarrassed when disarmed.
  17. Have you checked that your pinned location is correct?
  18. Good. Of course he doesn't want to press charges, likely due to him threatening them first, added to the insult of him trying to rip them off. First for the ridiculous Phuket fare and then trying to charge them another 200 baht on top of that. Sounds like he got 620 baht and still wasn't satisfied. Greedy barsteward.
  19. Nice meeting you ☺️ Goodbye.
  20. I read through the whole thread and can see that it's already been demonstrated to you a number of times. Any new links will likely be subject to your own personal interpretation. I get the feeling that you will question everything ad infinitum. Am I right?
  21. But how was their quality of life in old age?
