You obviously are not in Khon Kaen. Three Private Hospitals and 4 Public, all tell me that they have no vaccine and no plans to get any.

30,000 is the norm in our village. However, MOST of the village pay into a "Funeral Insurance Plan". That incurs a cost of 20 Baht every time someone in the scheme dies. That pays out 30,000 to cover the costs. Of course, the food and drinks for 1 to 5 days are not included in that.

I have tried ALL hospitals in Khon Kaen for a Moderna Booster. They have all responded that they have no vaccine at all. One even said they were awaiting a Government directive???? Having two of the symptoms that qualify in the "Vulnerable" category this is not the news I want to read. -

For several years now I have been going to my local airport and booking flights at the relevant airline desk. 90% of the time it has cost me less than the advertised price on their website. The friendly staff are always happy to answer any questions that you have. Why not do that? PS. I took an AA flight 10 days ago and there was NO mention of vaccinations. However, masks are required during the flight and in the airport.
