  1. The push and fall didn't kill him, hitting the ground did
  2. The Chinese thrive on such delays, acquiring shipping and rights to certain ports for not completing the contracts, ask Sri Lanka and a few African nations about having to cede right to the CCP for delays and unfinished work, they love it.
  3. The relaxed purchase laws have nothing to do with the accident rate, the drunks can get alcohol anytime they want it from mom and pop stores, stiffer penalties and jail time could help in the right direction.
  4. It is almost laughable, most of the alcohol related accidents involve Thailanders, who can get cheap liquor from any mom-and-pop shop any time of the day, so the reformers are talking out of the side of their mouths.
  5. Take a short trip to Valley View restaurant north of Ban Chang, next to Green Valley Golf Course, excellent Fish and Chips, look them up in Facebook.
  6. You can live here very affordable, depending on how you budget yourself. If you have a lot of income, you can afford to live high on the hog, but if you are restricted by income, you can still live comfortably, but your choice. I get 72,000 a month from my pension, pau 7000 a month for rent and utilities, not a palace, but a nice apartment, restaurant and bar on site. Comfortable for me, and not trying to spend like a stupid farang, showing off.
  7. What a lot of people haven't looked at is what happens when projects like this fall apart in a partnership with China. Ask Sri Lanka and many countries in Africa, China ends up confiscating property and shipping site for the failure of the country they are doing project with, so Lam Chabang becomes another Chinese ran port, SAD
  8. Just wondering why Thailand is the only country I hear of regarding "cannabis poisoning", when there has to be other drugs involved, Yaba, Ice, and good chance too much alcohol. Been around a long time, smoked a lot of pot in my day, went on to a great career in retail, retired here in 2013, kind of agree about the medical certificate, but just regulate it smartly, States in the US that legalized it seem to doing it quite well, maybe Thailand needs to study their programs.
  9. What people don't seem to realize, the Muslim religion hates infidels, al non-muslim people. They are trained to make like the they like you, but when their front door closes, you are dead to them. It is really amazing the amount of women siding with them, considering if they were living in a Muslim country, they would be 2nd class citizens. Take a look at Mosque pictures, how many women do you see, 0. Yet you swallow their rhetoric, and may have to pay down the road. SAD
  10. 1 sane mind in the EU, and they try to silence her, stand strong, and tell them to climb a rope,
  11. Who should give a rat's A$$ about what North Korea thinks???
  12. She needs to try Valley View Restaurant outside of Ban Chang, really popular. Search Valley View Restaurant on Facebook, great fish and chips and plenty of English food.
  13. Her video, cheekily captioned, highlights the allure of Thai roasts, claiming they’re “10X better and cheaper.” With over 57,000 views and 100 comments, the clip resonates with many, including expats long deprived of their beloved Sunday rituals. Viewers expressed their envy and anticipation. “Food looks banging for the price; have fun,” one enthused commenter noted. Another chimed in eagerly, “I’m coming in August; I can’t wait!” Photo of the Yorkshire pudding Julia's culinary journey has gained significant attention on TikTok, showcasing a unique blend of cultures. For British expats, the promise of enjoying their homeland's classics in an unexpected setting offers a comforting taste of home. Foodies intrigued by Julia's adventure might just find themselves joining the pilgrimage to Thailand, eager to sample roasts with a refreshing twist that promise both nostalgia and delight. 14. Be Happy you are not an Major League Baseball player, or any professional athlete, they have to pay State Income Tax for game played in that state, and Canada and the province played, just wild comment.
  15. I have been here for 13 years, live quite comfortably on my US SS, avg income, 72000 TB a month. Rent a 1 Bedroom APT. shop at market, don't try to show off or preach, can be done if diligent about it.
  16. This type of thing, marrying children off to old man in foreign country, then trying to kill them when they refuse, along with the rest of Sharia Law, is a good reason not to support Islam, why can't sane people see that.
