  1. These people want to govern the country but can’t even be bothered to show up. So very Thai.
  2. She doesn’t appear as the sharpest tool in the box. Like many others she’s of the generation where they feel compelled to share everything about their lives on media platforms gain “celebrity” status and make a living from it. Her posts mentioning drug taking was to impress, whether she did or not, aren’t going to do her any favours in her defence. It seem’s reality is something she can’t grasp and her pathetic excuses demonstrates her reluctance to accept the fact she knew what she was doing and the outcome it’s going to have on her life.
  3. They opened Pandora’s box and soon realised they didn’t know what they were dealing with. Expect the potheads to whine as they always do.
  4. No doubt no neck considering the army warming up the tanks.
  5. Having listened and spoken to old hands who’ve lived here for years they want the old Thailand back, the one they fell in love with. Many bemoan how Pattaya and Phuket aren’t what they used to be, too many foreigner's one told me. The reality is you can’t go back in time. Covid caused massive damage and the current political games aren’t helping either. It is what it is, like it or lump it. Vietnam’s status is growing in SE Asia but hasn’t always demonstrated the same level of tolerance for expats as seen here. The grass isn’t always greener once reality sets in.
  6. Anybody else notice the guy who always has something to say has remained quiet? Where is Thaksin right now? Preparing for court or has he done a runner again?
  7. With so much drug production now gangs can afford to lose some product in order to continue their supply chain. This case is a perfect example. As long as there are gullible people who can be exploited with the chance to earn big money it’ll always continue.
  8. One question. How do these casino’s benefit Thailand? Most, if not all of the money, they make goes back to the country that made the investment. This exactly how the Chinese conned Cambodia and Laos. Sure money pours in, but goes back just as quickly. If they want casino’s Thailand should do it on their own, but they always look to others because they always prefer the easy option.
  9. This obsession with F1 is ridiculous. The money would better spent on the countries infrastructure that would benefit it’s people rather than a few to line their own pockets. Look what happened in India, $400 million spent on making a circuit for just three races where tickets were too expensive for locals to go.. Then there’s Vietnam. $600 million spent on circuit in Hanoi. Covid came and the race never happened and now is abandoned. To keep saying it’ll create tourism is a dangerous fallacy. No date has been suggested and price is critical factor to. This is nothing but a wet dream for some very rich vainglorious Hiso’s to line their pockets!
  10. This is news? Seem’s more like a promotion for her company and the upcoming show in October.
  11. Considering the current situation in the US and its complete unpredictability the Thai leadership should take notice of how other countries are dealing with the situation. The world moves on continuing business with or without the US, something that the buffoon in charge fails to comprehend.
  12. I’ll never be achieved in Thailand because of the level of corruption within its political system and the control the army has over everything.
  13. No problems with Cambodia or its borders for years then something sparks it off? I can’t help think this has been instigated as a diversionary tactic to divert attention from something else happening. Maybe a certain individual who’s due to appear in court on the 23rd is looking to make a quick exit to avoid his deception relating to his medical condition and those he paid off coming to light.
  14. This nothing more than a diversionary tactic to steer the media away from something else the government doesn’t want them to find out about.
  15. The figures are truly horrific but the report also conveniently doesn’t mention how many accidents were related to alcohol. Unfortunately I don’t have high expectations. The police should be the ones promoting road safety, but as seen many times before, they fail in their role and rely on little brown envelopes to ensure they avoid doing their job properly.
  16. Ethics? Another untouchable who believes the law doesn’t apply to him because of his wealth. Its obvious he’s suffering from Napoleon syndrome and the sooner he and his family get removed from Thai politics the better.
  17. She should wait a little while before doing anything, or like Macron suggested review all trade and stop investment in America. In a month the US will be in crisis as the prices go up and jobs are lost because of his ridiculous tariff’s and he’ll be under pressure to fix it.
  18. What does it say about the level of intellect in the US? To put the finances of the country under the control of a six time bankrupt.
