  1. I don’t give a stuff what you hope happens in the US because I have no intention of visiting it, or living there. If you’re not happy adhering to the immigration requirements here maybe it’s time you move on. Your choice.
  2. I would love to see Thai immigration to a tit for tat response. Let the yanks who thinks the sun shine out of his butt go back and find out just what a great job he’s doing in ruining their country first hand.
  3. Looking forward to this. Smith, or Mauerberger to be precise, has been involved with many high powered figures in Cambodia, Thailand and beyond which have raised concerns about his shady business dealings being legit. Maybe he’s assuming his “friends” are going to ensure to help him out. Personally I’d like to see him put through the wringer and his potential criminal activities exposed.
  4. Geordie boy’s been in the game long enough to know saying stupid things like this can come back haunt him. Should have kept his mouth shut or say he’ll decide after the election result is known.
  5. That’s going to be a game changer in the next election, NOT. You’ve had your 15mins, now shut the door on your way out.
  6. Where’s there’s a demand they’ll always be a market. I can’t understand why it comes as a shock to the Thai authorities, it’s how the countries run!
  7. What a moron. Had a drunken bust up with his wife, which obviously didn’t go to well, so then decided to be really stupid and express his opinion about Cambodia and Thailand, maybe to demean his wife, on a train full of Thai passengers. That’s never going to end well in the current situation between both countries, which he probably is well aware of and why he said it. His wife must be so glad of the negative attention her man child husband has drawn to her and his idiotic behaviour, and the loss of face to her personally.Time to move on honey.
  8. I’m sure the money could be spent better in addressing issues with the countries infrastructure. It’d probably be cheaper to buy the information they require from countries who have successful space agencies. This is more of a dick swinging exercise to other countries in the immediate region in my opinion.
  9. She has a point. In my travels in both countries I found Filipinas across a wide spectrum of jobs were able to communicate, both understand and speak, to a better standard. It’s also emphasises the difference in the standard of education in both countries. I don’t expect everybody to agree but it’s my opinion based on my personal experience.
  10. He talks tough about Iran , but so did Bush and how did that work out for yanks? A massive cluster phuk. You’re supposed to learn from history but seeing as trump doesn’t read, is intellectually challenged and has the attention span of a 5 year old you can already predict the outcome should he decide to get involved, and probably more than likely coerced into it by his buddy netanyahu, because like all the others, he’s well aware of which strings to pull to get him to do what he wants him to.
  11. Firstly don’t give trump the credit for anything he’s doing. The man’s an imbecile who just wants to perform in front of the camera and appear a tough guy, the same role he played in his $hit tv show the apprentice. He has no comprehension of how politics works in his own country or the rest of the world. What he actually is a puppet, who strings are pulled by people like stephen miller, bannon, putin and others who use him to instigate their own agendas and let him take the credit. Something he’s done all his pathetic life. They’re are the scumbags telling trump what to do, who to attack and what he can do to get the power, and above everything else, to increase his wealth by selling favours and pardons to those rich enough to pay the shyster. What they can’t control is trump’s mental decline as his dementia becomes more obvious on a daily basis and the risk he’ll become as it worsens and becomes uncontrollable. It will happen, and just like death, that’s something nobody can control
  12. trump is getting far to head strong about what he thinks he can do to other countries he either has issues with, or have something he wants. At some stage he’s going to step on the wrong toes of others who’re involved. Despite him stupidly thinking Putin and Xi “like him” they won’t think twice about reacting should he impede their own business dealings. He has the potential to put American lives at further risk, despite how he’s already making things harder for so many already. And of course all this bravado BS is to divert attention away from that along with his desperation to stop more information about Epstein and his pedo pals, who he’s trying to protect, from being identified and the high powered roles they hold.
  13. Clutching at straws. There’s a down turn in tourism in SE Asia. Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam have had significant drop in figures too. The Thai numbers are primarily driven by a sharp decline in short haul tourists, especially from China, due to concerns about safety, scams and regional instability and the Baht being so strong. Recovery is not going to be instantaneous but transitional as economic pressure and reduced spending are increasing and affects tourism worldwide. This is what TAT should understand and be focused on.
  14. Why does “too many cooks” spring to mind?
  15. Can’t help thinking, “too many cooks”.
  16. Unfortunately for the Future Forward party their ideas are to radical for the old guard and they’re are the ones who fear change the most, and potentially lose their place in the trough, and will do whatever they can to impede them, even if they were to win. There time will come eventually and it will be for the benefit of Thailand. Thaksin learnt the hard way not to disregard the party when he, and his daughter, got humiliated by them in the last election. He might have the votes of the elderly, who’ll die sooner, but the young are more savvy about the world and ask the awkward questions and challenge the reasons for why things are done a certain way. I hope to see it happen in my lifetime.
  17. Somebody needs to explain to him about the definition of insanity. Maybe the penny will drop.
  18. Are they really still wasting there time on these puerile ideas where they assume one fantastical attraction is going to draw in tourists like never before. Give me a phukin break!
  19. To be clear his desire for Greenland is NOT about security. The country has rare earth elements virtually untouched which are required in the manufacture of high- tech products. Both China and Russia have shown interest in recent history, which trump knows and that’s why he and the American tech firms he takes money from, also called bribes, wants it so bad. He wants to own the land, name the price for there sale and line his own pockets from the deals he makes. The one thing he underestimates is Europes response. They know what they’re dealing with and won’t kowtow to the wannabe king of the world and they’ll fight if they have to. Maybe it’s time he learns not everybody is intimidated by a moronic orange faced clown.
  20. A rise up the step ladder for doing what doctors are supposed to do, keeping people healthy. He’ll soon be promoting the products he used to cure Thaksin from all his ailments, I believe it’s called Bull$hit!
  21. More questions than answers, even after reading other news reports. His family are pushing coercion by some British guy who was “ telling him what to do” whilst back in the UK and were suspicious about but still didn’t report it to the police or stop him from going. Something not mentioned in the report on here was the fact he only turned 18 in November and he and his girlfriend chose to come to Thailand to celebrate. How many 18year olds have the money to holiday in Thailand? His return flight was to Dublin too, supposedly because of cost and availability. The more you scratch the surface more questions appear but I think he, and maybe his family, are not telling the whole truth. The one thing undeniable is he was caught with the drugs and will face prosecution, whether coerced or not, and face the consequences. Qatar is zero tolerant with drugs and is likely to give him a severe jail term and large fine. He and his family, are going to have a long time to think about how he screwed up his young life so quickly.
  22. This was always going to happen. As long as the elite 1% who control Thailand fulfil their desire in continuing to impede it’s progress the country will never be able to develop to at least the same standard or better than it’s asean rivals. Everytime time progressive people, read Pita, and his “radical” ideas for recognising the decline and the failure in the modernisation of Thailand and calling it out panic sets in amongst the old guard who’re the one’s who fear change the most because they’ll lose the most. The only positive is these old fossils won’t live for ever and there is a younger generation who are interested in politics, who’re better educated and have access to so much information on the internet and aren’t scared to keep asking ‘why does it have to be this way’?
