I've got a couple of American buddies that are like that. I point out some of the nonsense that is going on, eg. men being allowed to compete against women because they put on a dress and call themselves Mary. Their response: isolated incident, nothing to worry about. They don't seem to understand that the decision to allow this should never have been made in the first place and that once it starts it spreads like a cancer. I hope that nonsense never comes to Thailand.

I used to order from Soho Pizza all the time a few years ago. I really enjoyed it for a time and then the quality fell off a cliff. I have ordered from both Soi 11 and The Commons Sala Daeng recently and based on those offerings I would struggle to recommend it to anyone.

I went there more than 20 years ago and it was nice but then i returned after a few years and found that the menu was exactly the same before. No updates, no creativity, just the same old "traditional" toppings. I'm from Sydney so I'm used to pizza that is not "traditional". Our Italians adapted the recipes for the local tastebuds. Or maybe they were just from a different part of Italy than the ones that emigrated to the USA. The "Supreme" pizza was a staple of Sydney pizza shops, it had everything plus pineapple which of course gets tradionalists in a tizz. The first time I tasted it I was hooked. Sydney also has a lot of immigrants from Lebanon and Turkey. They make Italian style pizza but with all sorts of weird toppings that would enrage a traditional Italian but tasted pretty good to me. For example, here's the ingredients from one of my favourite pizza shops: Chef Special Pizza $17.25 Cheese, diced leg of lamb, onion, pepperoni, sliced olives, feta cheese and sliced tomato.... Halal Nice fat kalamata olives too, not those wimpy little black olives 😂 Here's another one that will upset the traditionalists but tastes pretty darn good with a few coldies: Chicken Kebab Pizza $17.25 Cheese, chicken, onion, mushroom, capsicum, olives and pineapple. Perhaps. I was new to Thailand at the time and although it was mostly good experiences I encountered just a little bit too much of the "you pay, you pay, you farang you have money big" attitude. It sticks in the craw. At the time the Pacific Peso was only buying 22 baht so 1k was a lot of money. I was paying 80 baht per night for a hovel on Soi Rambuttri and large beer Changs (original recipe) were only 40 baht so it seemed like a king's ransom to me at the time. Anyway their loss, I went to Nana Plaza and eked out my meagre budget in the go-gos then took the bus back home for 3.50 baht 😂

No I don't, it's racist. I went to that stadium on Rama IV about 28 years ago, Ratchasomething. I went to the ticket booth and saw a sign in Thai with the numbers in Thai script. 200 baht. So I handed them 2 reds but they refused to take them. Told me to fk off and go to another ticket office where the price was 1,000 baht. I was a backpacker with limited funds, not a two week millionare. That would feed me for a week. They can shove their Muay Thai where the sun don't shine.

I've been getting new photos for each extension, never even thought to try and use the old ones. I'll give it a go next year, if it works that's an extra 100 baht in my pocket. Can get an English breakfast for that in Pattaya. Or a couple of beers at happy hour 🤣

Thai Visa Expert quoted me 1k a couple of years ago for a COR at CW. I didn't go through with it for some reason though so not sure if they can actually deliver. It pays to shop around. I was quoted 2.5K for COR at some random agency in Trendy building.
