Recovering money owed to me, any advice
You loaned money to an Indian? Even Indians aren't that stupid. Consider the money a gift and move on.

Breaking News: A Texas Democrat Just Won a Stunning Upset
Isn't he a colored fella? For some reason the white robe scene from 'Blazing Saddles' came to mind. Good luck to him. California bleeds blue and the red states turn purple. Fun to watch from afar.

Did She Jump?
There was a Thai lady half way over a balcony railing on the 4th floor of a green building on Buakhao just before noon today. A crowd was gathering and a rescue team just arrived as I passed. There aren't any reports, so my hope is that they got her back into the apartment and not off the ground.

Advice on Upgrading to the New Honda ADV350
Thankfully I stored my Click instead of selling it when getting the ADV. I've been back on the Click and loving it.

Advice on Upgrading to the New Honda ADV350
I bought a brand new ADV350 in December 2024 and happily got rid of it 3 weeks ago. I rode 15k km around the country, so got a pretty good feel for it. Absolutely useless off road, but that was no surprise. Power on the highway wasn't bad, seat and handlebar position were comfortable. The main problem is the foot position and floorboard height. If your inseam is over 30 inches you're going to suffer on long rides. The machine is also ridiculously heavy for such low power. The wide handlebars suck, yes suck, in traffic. Fuel economy was OK until going over 100. At 140 it sucked fuel like a humvee. Maintenance prices are over the top. My Click costs 200 baht for an oil change; the ADV was 1,200 baht. You'll want a hook or two mounted on the bars to carry a bag of groceries. There is no storage on the right side (like the cubby on the Click) so good luck carrying a bottle of water or anything you want to grab at a traffic light. There is no grommet between the usb plug and exterior of the compartment that houses it, so you'll crush the charging cord if using it while your phone in in the holder. Honda is getting complacent. I've looked at one of those Chinese scooters (Zontes?) and far more thought was put into that design than into the ADV350. A big one is flip out pegs so you can stand up or use a non foot forward seating position. I wouldn't buy any Chinese bike, but I've got to commend them for putting effort into their designs.

Top 10 Most Beautiful Women In The World
Reminds me of Barbara Walters when they started using vaseline on the lens filter to soften her appearance. I was 8 and thought I'd developed cataracts.

Were you sodomized in jail? Seems like a stiff penalty for being a ham radio operator. The ones I've known were geeky but law abiding and conscientious.

K-pop Star Lisa to Feature in Thailand Tourism Campaign
Perhaps to many, but there are also board members who would prefer to unwrap that package and be greeted by a turgid todger instead of what Lisa was born with. Count the red thumbs for this post and you'll see what I mean.

K-pop Star Lisa to Feature in Thailand Tourism Campaign
That job could turn even the Dalai Lama into a raging pit bull of a monk. It's soul destroying work. The immigration people I've come across handle it better than I would.

Why screw over innocent people who have nothing to do with the conflict? Sounds like an angry, impotent lashing out rather that a solution to a problem.

M6 Motorway Opened, Offers Free Rides Until January
This is nice to see. The country always seems to be optimistic and moving forward with something. Will any Brit or Eurotrash climate activists be glueing themselves to this highway? One can only hope.

Greta Thunberg arrested backing jailed pro Palestinian activists
Did you read the Wikipedia link in that post? Here it is again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discourse_on_Voluntary_Servitude A precis of the short essay would be ' withdraw your consent from the rulers and their power crumbles'. Just like with covid, as I explained before, it was the withdrawal of consent by the people who felt deceived that ended the madness, not the protests against it. Tyranny and tyrants are nothing new. They've arisen and been thwarted throughout history, albeit with suffering of the masses. If you want further engagement please be less intellectually lazy. I feel like I'm conversing with a teen.

Agent to Expedite Things? A Cautionary Tale
It was finally sorted out this morning. The antagonistic male employee was notably absent and things went smoothly. Still, I'll probably start doing things for my self from now on.

Greta Thunberg arrested backing jailed pro Palestinian activists
No, that would be illegal and immoral, and I'm shocked that you interpreted my words in such a manner. This is an important piece of work and a good guide for how to handle these difficult times. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discourse_on_Voluntary_Servitude
