  1. This part of your post is off topic. I suggest you don't tell people they are off topic, and then go off topic yourself.
  2. Actually, no, I'm not wasting money. I've done the math. 1) For cash, superRich has basically the same exchange rate as wise. 2) My credit card has no fees, gives a good exchange rate plus 2-3% cash back on every purchase. That easily beats wise, so I put everything I can on my credit card. 3) My ATM card has no fees, a good exchange rate, and even refunds the Thai ATM fee. I think wise still gives a little better exchange rate, but not by much.
  3. It's even more worthless if you aren't healthy, because they will exclude coverage for all pre-existing conditions.
  4. I've been in Thailand most of the last 2 years with no Thai bank account. It's really not necessary to live here. I just use my US ATM cards, credit cards, and bring cash. Considering the hassle I read about, I'm glad I never tried to open an account here.
  5. Can't see any insult. Unless someone is still dazed Thanks for the confirmation. Have a good day.
  6. Was there any point in this comment except to be mean and insulting? 🙁
  7. A true alcoholic will just stock them selves up ahead of time. These laws just annoy those of us who like to shop in the afternoon.
  8. bedroom 18 living room varies but usually around 22
  9. 🤣🤣🤣 ChatGPT is your ultimate source of truth? Thats even funnier than I thought.
  10. Source? Or is that something you just made up as usual? CanSino Biologics stock has also fallen more than 90% and is actually lower than late 2019 before covid started......
  11. It's rather obvious it was not a hoax if you simply look at the total number of deaths from all causes during that time. In the US, for example, between March of 2020 and March of 2022, there were more than one million more deaths than expected compared to previous years. Something very bad obviously happened during that time. Either people died of covid, or they died of boredom because they were stuck at home watching Netflix. Note also that the excess deaths nearly stop after vaccines became widely available. https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/cumulative-excess-deaths-covid
  12. Very old indeed. After the speculative bubble in those stocks popped, those stocks fell more than 90%. So definitely none of those people are billionaires anymore.....
  13. Every helmet I've ever worn has been uncomfortable. But I'm sure thats because I only drive a motorbike when I rent it while traveling, so the helmet is always a cheap crappy one.......the same kind Thais would try on and then dislike.
  14. Remember, during covid, Thai airlines cancelled flights, stranded people, and refused to give refunds for cancelled flights. A lot of us with Thai flights lost our money. EVA and all honest airlines gave refunds for cancelled flights. Never fly a scam airline like Thai!
