  1. He should have seen what coming? That his attempt to escape would be fail?
  2. to be removed he has to be found guilty at a Senate Trial. 2/3 are needed for conviction. It's unlikely that he will screw up so badly that he will be convicted. But I wouldn't entirely put it past him.
  3. Exactly how was Venezuela "in bed with US democrates"
  4. You sure about that? The following comes from the Marxist-Leninists at Fox News: Democrats plan full-court press on DOJ to release Epstein files Democrats won a huge victory this week in getting Republicans to enact legislation compelling the Trump administration to release the full files on Jeffrey Epstein. Their next battle is keeping the pressure on the Justice Department to comply. Democrats are eyeing a series of tactical maneuvers — letters, lawsuits, additional subpoenas and votes of contempt — designed to keep the spotlight on the issue and ensure the documents see the light of day. https://fox40.com/hill-politics/democrats-plan-full-court-press-on-doj-to-release-epstein-files/
  5. CBS News poll finds most would oppose U.S. military action in Venezuela, say Trump hasn't explained https://www.cbsnews.com/news/poll-venezuela-u-s-military-action-trump/ Remember when Trump supporters were here were praising Trump for keeping America at peace?
  6. What doesn't riclag understand about the fact that to be tried, you have to have committed a crime?
  7. President Donald Trump has yet to follow through on his threat to impose an additional 10 percent tariff on Canadian imports, four weeks after he halted “all trade negotiations” over an anti-tariff ad the province of Ontario ran during the Major League Baseball World Series. “Because of their serious misrepresentation of the facts, and hostile act, I am increasing the Tariff on Canada by 10% over and above what they are paying now,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Oct. 25, after announcing two days earlier that he was terminating trade talks over the the ”egregious” ad. rump’s announcement had Canadian exporters preparing for a worst-case scenario: a sweeping levy layered on top of existing double-digit duties, which would have been particularly painful for industries like autos, where components cross the border multiple times before reaching their final form. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/11/23/canada-tariffs-trump-00663710 Most likely for same reason it's likely he got so chummy with Mamdani: the 2025 elections. Affordability proved to be a winning issue for the Dems. So Trump is pivoting. TACO anyone?
  8. From my perspective it's kind of a pity that the DOJ is going after these generous clowns. They so freely give their targets grounds for dismissal.
  9. Trump's stablecoin chosen for $2 billion Abu Dhabi investment in Binance, co-founder says https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/wlfs-zach-witkoff-usd1-selected-official-stablecoin-mgx-investment-binance-2025-05-01/ Just one of many deals that Trump's businesses are pursuing with middle east governments.
  10. The Supreme Court has narrowly restricted the grounds for contesting how congressional districts are drawn. One of the few (only?) grounds is racially based gerrymandering. There is lots of explicit evidence that this was the basis of why the districts were redrawn.
  11. "This is yet another glaring example of how ignorant and churlish this sub forum is."
  12. No doubt MTJ was a horror show. But " Trump did not endorse her 2020 campaign"? "President Donald Trump on Wednesday tweeted support for businesswoman Marjorie Taylor Green, calling her a "future Republican Star" after she secured the Republican nomination for Georgia's 14th Congressional District, despite embracing a fringe conspiracy theory and facing backlash for espousing racist, anti-Semitic and Islamophobic views in past videos. "Congratulations to future Republican Star Marjorie Taylor Greene on a big Congressional primary win in Georgia against a very tough and smart opponent. Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up - a real WINNER!" the president tweeted." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/marjorie-taylor-greene-wins-house-gop-runoff-georgia/story?id=72316326 So, Trump did support a person "who spread conspiracy claims about President Obama, encouraged violence and who is known for her statement “Yes they can control the weather. It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.”, as she referenced a hurricane in Florida, and supported the conspiracy claim that federal government controls the weather."
  13. That's not what Trump was accused of. And the Senate trial is not part of the criminal justice system.
  14. "deliberately misinforming the more gullible among the electorate" is a crime? If that were the case, Donald Trump would now be serving a life sentence for repeated violations. So, no, not a crime. Stop making things up.
  15. Even if there was "deliberately misinforming the electorate": that is a crime? If that were the case, Donald Trump would be potentially a convicted felon. Stop making things up.
  16. Please share with me what crime it was that the 51 allegedly committed?
  17. The Justice Department is investigating whether some Trump administration officials improperly shared information about its mortgage-fraud investigation into Sen. Adam Schiff (D, Calif.), according to a document and people familiar with the matter. The new inquiry is examining in particular the actions of Federal Housing Finance Agency director Bill Pulte and people working for him and Ed Martin, a Trump ally and Justice Department official whose job has included pursuing mortgage-fraud investigations into Trump opponents, the people said. The probe is specifically looking at whether those officials had tasked people to work on the investigation who weren’t authorized to do so, the people said. Such sharing of information could potentially undermine any case against Schiff. https://archive.ph/b99ge
  18. I asked you a simple question and you keep on dancing around it. Here it is again: What was the lie?
  19. I've given up hoping about your grasp of the finer points of the English language.
  20. What was the lie? And please spare me the mindreading act.
  21. So, not surprising that riclag thinks punishing an entire ethnic community is justified because some of its members are criminals. Whatever happened to DEI and not judging people by their race and ethnicity. riclag and his fellow travelers, including Donald Trump, have just outed themselves.
  22. Clearly, you don't understand that the issue is intent.
  23. I've read Andrew McCarthy on this. He's been very critical of the halligan prosecution. But he thinks that because those two indictments were originally present in the document that was approved by the jurors, the judge will probably rule that it's okay. It's a mark of their incompetence, but it doesn't rise to the level of disqualification is how he puts it.
