Absolute twaddle, 18,000 work permits were given but hardly coexistence; the few that did work in Israel required permits and had to go through many checkpoints, could have their permits revoked at any time with no explanation, or could even be jailed without trial: After Oct 7, all such permits were revoked. I don't know your motive for these misinterpretations, Ezra, but Gaza was under blockade, people lived in poverty, and the vast majority had no access to Israel at all. Are you trying to dismiss the fact that there have been decades of occupation, siege, and systemic inequality?

I believe the mission has been accomplished in that many millions of people all over the world, who were unaware of Israeli oppression, have learned about the atrocities of Israel over the last few decades and joined the Palestinian cause. What a terrible price to pay though, martyrs indeed.

They are referring to the armistice lines from 1949 (also called the Green Line) - the borders that existed before Israel took control of the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem in the 1967 war. So it’s not that those lines were ever Palestinian borders, they’re a starting point for negotiations in the two-state solution.
