I would doubt that they are happy with a photocopy.
Also only certain foreign licenses are accepted anyway.
Which country is yours from?
And as above: you could do the license from scratch.
Not rocket science, just some swotting for the theory test.
You want car license and/or motorbike license?
I move this thread to the Motor forum from Koh Samui forum.
Not much Ko Samui specific.
I can't find any info how to get a license from scratch. Do you also go to the same place that is mentioned near raja ferry for the renewals. Is it a similar process then except some additional tests?

I have lost my driving license for my own country and had not yet got a Thai license.
I can only get my own country license back when I go home in person.
How do I get a Thai Driving License without my own countries license. I do have a photocopy of this license if it is acceptable.

I'm looking for a new rear tail lamp for ford ranger? Where is the best place to buy car parts on Samui? Any second hand dealers or scrap yards where parts can be picked up cheap.
Thanks

I have a lamp model No - MCJH511.001 ...it's brand new in the original box, wrong one was sent from China and I could not be bothered to return it,
it's never been touched by hands ( your oil in your skin will cause the lamp to blow when it's hot).
if it's any good for you it's yours for 3000 baht, Please PM me .
Thanks. Already decided to buy on aliexpress. Couldn't find any in the shops on samui.

Better try buy online, those are really expensive.
Sent from my Lenovo TB3-710F using Thaivisa Connect mobile app
Any ideas where? Seems cheap on aliexpress but shipping will take a few weeks. i found one on projector.co.th but double the price of aliexpress.

Thanks. Is that directly opposite makro?

Is there anywhere in Samui where you can buy replacment projector lamps?

Yes found the place. Very good service at reasonable rates. about 100-150 to fix each fan and he advised it would be too much for certain ones. Seems to fix all electronics.
Would recommend this place for any one needing electronic repairs.

Thanks Eva. will give it a try.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any proper big game fishing trips in Samui? Not the tourist sightseeing ones.
Thanks

Clicking on the businesses listed it brings up reviews for booking.com and foursquare for restaurants. I might try registering on foursquare see if that helps at all. I did see one restaurant that had trip advisor reviews listed directly in the maps. Its a really nice feature with the reviews there.
I am wondering if Chinese are using this or what are they using. Always see them walking around looking at their phone as if they are checking a restaurant location and walk directly into certain restaurants.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know the process for listing a business on Apple maps in Thailand?
When I go to add business on https://mapsconnect.apple.com/business/ui/addPlace Thailand is not available as an option.
Looking on the maps app there are several local places listed.
Thanks

Got the iphone 5c screen replaced at Mnet beside Makro. 1900 baht including glass and lcd. Good job. Lot cheaper than booths in Tesco.

Where is the best/cheapest place to get the medical certificate?
-
Have tried searching samui - bkk any time in May-June and cheapest is 3100 each way. Can it only be booked after 15th march to get the offer?
-
Haven't seen any checkpoints since March 1st anyway. Maybe when people start getting fined though it may change slightly as the fines are hefty at 500 & 1000 bht.

There are Thai style 1 bed bungalows for rent near me in Chaweng Noi. I think they are unfurnished though 5k a month.
