But not 18 counts of homicide (and counting).
What is wrong with this country?
The last line is rhetorical.

Prior to his death Steven Hawking explained the origin of the universe etc. I would suggest that Somchai Srisutthiyakorn has more chance of refuting Hawkings theory than beating Article 44.

So we have:
A cheap charlie buying beer at the Family Mart for him and his bar fine.
Puts the beers down and asks a chap selling copy cd out side a ladyboy bar to take care of them.
Bar fine returns, collects beers.
Farang looks for beer (note not now looking for bar fine, sorry girlfriend).
Gets angry as ladyboy (sorry girlfriend/barfine) has taken the beers.
Pokes copy cd seller in the eye.
Fight commences.
Thai chap kicks guy in the head.
Guy gets up and leaves.
Copy cd seller fined 50% of max as he admitted it was him ( bit hard not to considering the video).
Apologises to Thailand for bringing Pattaya into disrepute ( the irony is not lost on me).
Heads off back to work, selling copy cds.
Farang goes home.
.
Just another day in a tropical paradise.

Our dearest Leader has told us so numerous times. I know that, on further reflection, you - and I - would never doubt his honourable word, would we?!
Thank you for guiding me back to the roadmap to happiness.
My post was made in haste, without forethought. Can you please forgive me and put it down to " youthfull exuberance".
I shall endeavour to ensure that I will not err again.

Freedom of speech, the right of assembly, the right to peacefully protest.
None of the above are seen in the actions of the government, which is committed to Human Rights as a national agenda.

Brilliant, I did not think that this level of satire/parody existed within the Thai psyche.
Somebody needs to go to jail.
I suspect/regret that it will probably be the film maker rather than the poacher.

You missed a couple of sub-plots.
Lo-so girl, with white skin, leaves lo-so boy, with dark skin for hi-so boy, with white skin, who happens to look like a girl.
Grandma dies and returns as a ghost.
Man with moustache and black shirt turns out to be villian.
All slaves are happy and all masters benevolent.
All soldiers are wonderfull.
There you go, no need to watch one ever again, thank God.

Ah but, this is Thai sand/sea, very very different.
I understand they are planning to develop a "Thai wheel" very soon.

Some of us are well aware of the multiple dangers involved in trying to educate a country whose rulers have a different view of 'education' ....
As I see it, the current rulers see nothing wrong with the current "non-education" system and see no need to change it. I suspect their preferred route would be the establishment of "re-education" camps similar to those set up in Vietnam are the war and still currently in use in China.

I knew it, the ban had to have something to do with "farangs"!
They are nothing but trouble to the peace loving gentle people of the Kingdom. Coming here with their talk of democracy; revolution and a society of equals, nothing but communists (and we all know Thais hate communists and communist countries).
It appears the French are the worst, trying to indoctrinate wholesome Thais with ideas such as "Liberté, égalité, fraternité".
Deport them all, send them back I say. Nobody here eats cake, let them eat rice!

Pattaya News reported that the three carriage train with 64 seats per carriage was fully booked until near the end of March.
There are 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday till the end of March. So that is 3 trains down and 3 trains up. 3 carriages x 64 passengers x 6 journies.
Pffft.
Looks like the SRT Billions of Baht overspend has been resolved.
