Will the Thai authorities ever tighten up on entertainment licenses?
austhai replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The title of this post is wrong " Will the Thai authorities ever tighten up on entertainment licenses?". The authorities are already tight on legal businesses, I currently run 3 that have entertainment licenses & we submit engineer approved plans yearly, City Hall engineer inspection are done on fire safety & evacuation standards, also show we have public liability insurance & fire. The problem is the ones that open illegally & no checks are done. -

Unfortunately as this place & many thai after hour venues are not legally licensed as a club, they have not submitted engineer approved & checked reports. Even now they sent 300 cops to check licensed clubs throughout the district where the big ones are legit. They need tom check all the ones that are not & just paying to leave alone. Even all the unlicensed & unhygienic restaurants dont get checked, but the licensed ones get hammered on the codes regularly. Nothing will change. -

My question is for the foreigners living & working here, paying tax & super (some employing many locals & paying their tax & super) so free medical, also like myself with a good hospital insurance, doing a trip abroad, we shouldn't be charged a tourist fee at all. Maybe a bit difficult for tham to think about or separate.

The lack of skilled pilots is now causing chaos at our airports
austhai replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Sounds like an asian & middle eastern problem. The answer is to employ pilots from other countries (westernized) also, maybe they kept some training going. Just a thought as the prices are high everywhere & would cover the salaries. -

They definitely dont want her at the station. If they know who she is they would ship her off to that town. Other wise they don't have any solutions. -
