  1. The title of this post is wrong " Will the Thai authorities ever tighten up on entertainment licenses?". The authorities are already tight on legal businesses, I currently run 3 that have entertainment licenses & we submit engineer approved plans yearly, City Hall engineer inspection are done on fire safety & evacuation standards, also show we have public liability insurance & fire. The problem is the ones that open illegally & no checks are done.
  2. So they looked at jars of weed. Lol. And? Do they know the percentage of thc in there per gram. Lmao
  3. I can just see it now. Locals running around scared <deleted>less from imaginary cartoon characters & cops having no way to control them. ????
  4. But its ok for locals to keep & eat all undersized fish, also every type of pregnant sea food, never to put anything back in. How about setting an example 1st....
  5. have to be ready in Bkk for anti gov.. demonstrations.
  6. Unfortunately as this place & many thai after hour venues are not legally licensed as a club, they have not submitted engineer approved & checked reports. Even now they sent 300 cops to check licensed clubs throughout the district where the big ones are legit. They need tom check all the ones that are not & just paying to leave alone. Even all the unlicensed & unhygienic restaurants dont get checked, but the licensed ones get hammered on the codes regularly. Nothing will change.
  7. There were underage in there also. A mother spoke on the thai news yesterday of her 17yrs old daughter dying there. Not good at all.
  8. A sedan is a car meaning 4 doors. And here just meaning not a pickup.
  9. Looks like 1 of the country's back door will be shut. ????????
  10. And because this was allowed & happened now they crack down on all Pattaya... Its very unfair.
  11. Sounds like they are renaming HGH. Anyways, if it was for real & worked they would be stopped as the world would over populate too fast.
  12. It's good to see a governor working hard to restore proper order.
  13. How can you write he drowned because he was stretching on a bridge. The shop owner near by saw nothing, only assumes that's what happened.
  14. My question is for the foreigners living & working here, paying tax & super (some employing many locals & paying their tax & super) so free medical, also like myself with a good hospital insurance, doing a trip abroad, we shouldn't be charged a tourist fee at all. Maybe a bit difficult for tham to think about or separate.
  15. Sounds like an asian & middle eastern problem. The answer is to employ pilots from other countries (westernized) also, maybe they kept some training going. Just a thought as the prices are high everywhere & would cover the salaries.
  16. Feel sad for the victim's families & may they rest in peace. Phuket should really employ foreign life guards like Australians, for 1 the language & 2 the experience with real waves & rips we grew up with.
  17. LMAO.....Been waiting for this headline for months on end ????
  18. They definitely dont want her at the station. If they know who she is they would ship her off to that town. Other wise they don't have any solutions.
  19. Great, people will start to book into small businesses again like guesthouses (under apartment licenses of course). the little people will start to get room customers again.
  20. Soup cart vendors have been using cannabis forever here in the soup stock & all the locals know. They will not put a sign on the cart, its common knowledge. 555
  21. In Pattaya there would be only like 1 in 50 bike taxi with the yellow plate, these should be made to upgrade & should have a higher insurance rating to cover passengers for when they fall.
