I also make a habit of avoiding groups of westerners drinking together and politely reject small talk "have a beer" invitations. I'm just like most of my western peers and extremely sceptical of most other westerners. It's just the way it is.
So I guess you would love to be a Thai ?

I find Thai's much better lovers, more open and have much less hangups then western women.
"BETTER LOVERS" lol, Your previous posts in the Pattaya thread, you was praising beech road prostitutes, saying their attitude was better than many bar girls. Do you also call them your girlfriends ?

Good, we all should view this thread as very positive and praise the Thais for their "jai yen", and their wonderful family values. Wait I almost forgot the peaceful Buddha religion.

Well, they are not hookers you jumped to conclusions.
But even if they were so what why would one care, unless they were jealous.
What jealous of a cheap beach road hooker of Pattaya. Wise up

Your previous post, only 2 weeks ago in the Pattaya section, you was praising / defending beach road hookers. You said you find they have a better attitude than many of the other Pattaya bar hookers, and you contact them when required.

This happens on an almost daily basis in the US. Don't blame Thailand.
This is a Thai forum,. not the US. This was also your first post, so welcome and I guess you will be now the new resident Thai apologist.

"play a part" ?, surely a very small part.

There is a lot of diesel ,sand/dirt/dust on Thai roads + pot holes, uneven drain covers, ruts from overloaded trucks, poor signage, dogs, buffalo, elephant bad road design/layout
deathtrap U-turns red light runners
poor lighting (lamp post in middle of road)
etc etc etc....
So blame the roads not the brakes, or blame the roads and the brakes ? So its not the motorcycle drivers ?

If you had any problems with cabs, then you would blame the farangs as usual. No Thai would ever scam Mr wannabee Thai.

Yeah stuff like that never happens in the West, truly horrifying????
There are NO replies on this thread that say it ONLY happens in Thailand. You need to thicken up your sensitive skin and get a life.

If it isnt bad enough that Thais themselves are responsible for road carnage, now we have a non thai doing it too?
I wonder how much of the road carnage here is attributable to foreigners
Very little of the road carnage in Thailand is attributable to farangs, but most Thais and all the Thai apologists like you would love to blame most of the carnage on the farangs. This accident was not caused by a farang.

This apologist, white knight nonsense about "their land, language and culture" is ridiculous. There is precious little Thai culture in Pattaya, and the Thais themselves are under no illusions about the sole purpose of that city: get money from farang.Exactly, Wise up"Nan Laew", and think before you reach for your keyboard.
