  1. From the OP:

Republican lawmakers warned the leaders of Iran on Monday that any nuclear deal they cut with President Barack Obama could expire the day he leaves office.

I think the leaders of Iran would like that....they would probably be highly motivated about that.

However and to the contrary, I'd expect the ayatollahs might know more about American government and politics than the Republicans in the Senate give 'em credit for, because they seem to be planning and preparing for a woman in the White House who this time will be the commander in chief.

    President Ballbricker.

I expect a number of the Iranian delegation studied the US political system as part of their university education and some of them might have studied in the US. To send them a letter explaining how the system works is like sending them an alphabet primer. They're just clowns making fools of themselves and undermining their own electoral hopes and the president, who is their president whether they like it or not.

  2. Is there Nandos in Thailand or just that vile Piri Piri copy of it? I ate at Piri Piri in Terminal 21 about a year ago and it was one of the worst things I have eaten in Thailand. I think that if Nandos were to adjust the menu for local tastes, they could sell well in Thailand.

  3. There are several options available.

    1) Buy online with the link you posted.

    2) Buy yourself business class ticket.

    3) Local banks offer them as perks.

    4) https://www.bangkokflightservices.com/PremiumAirportServices.php <--- my preferred method.

Does EVA Air's Elite Class that sits just behind First Class count as a business class ticket?

No, it's just better economy class. You don't get any business class perks.

  4. I shouldn't really tell you this but I'm seeing returns Amsterdam to Bangkok with Etihad on certain dates in business class for £940 return.

Just promise me you won't tell anyone.

If you fly AMS-BKK via LHR on BA in business, It's about £500 or more less than just LHR-BKK.. Haven't worked out if they allow stop overs each way in London yet or I would combine a Bangkok trip with 2 long weekends in Amsterdam.

  5. But 34 is more comfortable than 31

Cramped is cramped, I don't think degrees of crampness matter when you can't sleep in an upright position.

I appreciate Business tickets cost alot more but some people can only sleep horizontally.

. If I can only afford to fly economy, then I figure that I can't afford the holiday.

Ridiculous and insulting to the very high majority that fly Economy and are more than happy to do so. I'm 6'3" and have no issues.......

This difference between Biz and Economy from UK is around £1500 ish which covers an awful lot of entertainment

And the difference between premium economy and business one way is about £400. I consider it worth it.

Not ridiculous and insulting at all. It's up to me what I spend my money on. And if flying economy is my only option, I will save more until I can afford better.
