Okay, thanks for clarification.
My boss anyhow hired an agent to do the work for her, it's quite similar but the agent said she can't apply for work permit based on NON-ED. So the plan is now I leave to country to cancel my ED-Visa and meanwhile the agent applying for WP32 and sent it to me. With that I can then apply for 90 day NON-B, come back and do the work permit followed by 1-year-extension.
The reason for this is, the Department of Employment is going to check the departure and arrival stamps later and they must matching with the application date for WP32 (later than this and earlier than NON-B application)
Before reading your reply I asked the agent the same question or process: to apply for work permit based on NON-ED. But she said the Department of Employment doesn't do this anymore.
Hi. When applying for the non B visa at the Thai embassy did they require a police clearance and did you have to provide a bank statement?
-
We have a case where a lady has to change her dependant O visa to a non B so she needs to cancel her current visa and get a visa from the Thai Embassy.
Two questions
1) can this be done at the Thai Embassy in Laos
2) how does she prove the funds if she has a joint bank account or does she need to open a Thai bank account?

She applied for and was issued a non-o visa that allows a 90 day stay in the country when she used it to enter the country.
She has been extending that 90 day stay at immigration for 90 days at a time.
1. What day did you enter the country with the non-o visa. She can get a extension that will only be valid to that day.
2. She would not be able to apply for another non-o visa at immigration. They can only be applied for if on a tourist visa or a visa exempt entry.
She could apply for a non-o visa at a nearby embassy or consulate with supporting documents from the organization.
She entered Thailand on the 10 th Jan 2022.
So she can reapply the Non O volunteer neighboring country or she can do the visa if she goes on holiday in UK?
-
She got her volunteer visa from the Thai embassy in the UK in Jan and so far she has renewed it three times at the Chaengwattana immigration.
1) so can she renew one more time?
2) after the year is over can she apply for a new Non O volunteer visa at Chaengwattana or have to leave the country?
-
One of our foundation managers would like to renew her 90 day visa for the fourth time. Can she renew her 90 day for a fifth time after that?

Yes....however the 800k would need to have been in Thai bank account in your name only for 2 months on day of application
Thank you. If the applicant only wants to stay for 4 months and not show the 800000 Baht would a 90 day tourist visa be an option?
-
Would he need to show money for a 90 day visa and ho many days does it take to get the visa?

Does the Vientienne embassy issu one year non O visas?

If he is going to Savannakhet to obtain a visa be aware that he would not obtain a reentry permit prior to exit from Thailand.
Thank you and noted. Would Vientienne be an option for a one year visa or do they only give 90 days?

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. You could also apply for a one year extension of stay based upon marriage to a Thai. You would need 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months or proof of 40k baht income.
Do you have a single or multiple entry non-o visa?
You can apply for a new non-o visa at a nearby embassy or official consulate.
I can only confirm that the embassy in Phnom Penh (single entry) and Savannakhet for a multiple entry visa.
Thank you for the info. My friend will go to Savannaket

There is no 90 day extension of a 90 day entry from a non-o visa you can get with a valid reason such as for medical treatment for example.
A re-entry permit would not give you any additional days and it only keeps the remainder of the permit to stay it was issued for valid when entering the country.
On what basis would you be applying for the non-o visa.
Based on marriage so will he just need to go to any embassy at a neighboring country?
-
If somebody has a 90 day non O visa from an embassy with a single entry permit can he get another 90 days if he get a reentry permit. Or does he have to apply for another 90 ay visa at an embassy?

They send it to the MFA but it is very easy and not crowded, plus you can take the MRT and if the Thai misses or kids need passports it can be done on the opposite end if the MRT station.
This did not work out for me as they told me and I needed to adhere to the online queue

Use this website and do it by EMS postal services. It cost me only 200 Baht for a certified copy of my wife's Thai passport, and I had it back in 3 days.

You mean that if I don't have a queue they will send it to the MFA because I know the place and last time I went there in December I needed an online queue

This is for a general job. By the way does the embassy usually require an employment contract or would they initiation letter from the company suffice. Thanks
