yes heard of that too. Usually they will smile and say hello but then they will act as though you were under the radar. However beware they talk behind the back.

The same as other females do in other countries,have seen many instances of screaming/damage to personal property/slapping/kicking etc by the female community,and have witnessed police intervention with no charges involved.

Screaming and kicking are ery obvious. I mean more the subtle way Thai women show they dont like someone. I think one way might be they smile and say hello but they dont want to have a conversion. Perhaps thats a way they show they dont like someone?

Thai women are very polite and smile a lot even to those they do not really like. However are there any subtle signs that women do not like someone?

I think he wouldn't try to touch you if the doors were still opened.. Depending on your size and posture of course.

He started banging the doors after its had closed probably because he though he was safe then. But I dont know what would have happened if the doors had reopened at that moment because I was stunned and furious as well and I do not want to do something which I would regret later.

Today I was takng the MRT and as I saw no one squeezing into the full train anymore I tried my luck. However one Thai Chinese man was not too happy so he shouted and banged the door at me. What could I have done if he had tried to touch me?

Just the opposite in my town. No local to Rhek Thum will wear sunglasses here, even outside in full sun. They will be accused of trying to look HI-SO, trying to look cooler than everyone else! Very strange.

I still wear mine on the scooter, but I do take them off when going into Tesco. Wouldn't want to be accused of trying to be a HI-SO farang.

This trend was started by Thai celebs who wanted to be incognito whenever they go shopping. So avargae Joe and avergae Jane thought it would be a good idea to copy and look cool, and by extension poeple might think they are a celeb in diguise.

well its is even more fun now that they switched their frequency every 20 minutes even in rush hour times. LOL!

I am slowly getting tired. Not only are they changing their schedules every day of the week. But worst of all is that when you call their hotline they are simply in denial. I was asking them today why on a weekday the trains are running every twenty minutes even in rush hour. They had no answer for that and simply said that is plenty enough. I mentinoed that during rush hours hundreds que up at the stations which they simply shrugged off. Why cant they give some precious info even if its just for courtesy? If they tell customers that there is an out of order I have no problems, but this pretending that nothing is wrong while hundreds waiting to get into trains.

I just came frustrated from my bank because I can only do payments online with a credit card. My debit card would not cut it. This pissed me off because always these advantages for credit card holders.

So if I want to buy Android apps or pay for hotels online, is there anyway i can do without having to get a credit card?

I noticed lots of local people own dogs. It is also cheaper to purchase a dog and vet bills and dog food is not so expensive as in Europe either.

Was thinking of buying a tablet PC for 3,990 Baht and they seem to do almost everything an IPad or a Samsung Tab can do. However I hardly see anyone buying these. Are the cheap tablet PCs so much worse and not worth buying? I tried them and they are okay for internet use and watching movies.

owning a dog is not only popular in Thailand.In Germany they number a few millions well fed and looked after.An important economic factor.Some old people who live alone keep them for company.I have 3 they guard our house.I suppose you never had a dog.Otherwise you would not ask.

Correct, I have never owned one and I am still deciding whether or not. But I have read both positive and negative comments. Some people saying dogs are wonderful others saying they are tired of dogs and will never own one again.

No I do not have a dog, but I was considering owning a mini dachshund or basset hound, however not convenient at the time being.

Lots of Thai people own two or more dogs at home and also a lot of expates who at the native countries never owned a dog decide to own one here. Why makes dog owning so popular here?

Relationships are for sale here either short time, time share, or mortgage variety. Any freak or weirdo will have no problems at all as long as they have the money. The only people who might struggle are those acclimatised to real relationships and have not wiped off their morals and culture from their shoes at immigration when they enter the country.

Unfortunately I am also one of the people who is dreaming of a real relationship and I do not want the mortgage variety either so I guess I must be standing on lost ground.

It also depends on what you class as a "relationship", to some guys it may mean keeping a bar girl on for a few weeks and then trading her in for a new one. My longest lasting falang female relationship was about 8 years, don't know what category that puts me in, probably "the grass was always greener" category.
