My 90 day report is due soon. I usually ask my wife to go to Chaeng Watanna to do it, but she's not exactly keen on the idea.
I live at Don Mueang and work in Pathum Thani.
Is it possible for me to get my 90 day report done at the IO at Pathom Thani?
My Non Imm 'O' visa is issued at CW.
I know it could be done online but the system seems a bit inconsistant.

If you're up around soi Cowboy call in to Country Road, or Oasis Bar, just down the soi, on the opposite side. Neither are 'Girly Bars' but good for music and a beer.

A KR 2 is only valid for 1 month from date of issue, according to Don Muang amphur.
CW immigration have always asked to see one.

A Thai friend tells the story that they did have bins once, but locals kept taking them
I can remember, a few years ago, large yellow 'swing bins' were placed along Pahonyothin rd, around Saphan Mai/Rangsit area. All had disappeared within a week. Imagine my surprise (Not) to see many appear outside neighbor's houses.

I get my peanuts from the local market, Saphan Mai, North Bangkok. 60 baht for 1kg, including a small bag of salt. They're already baked, I just put 500gms into the food processor and turn it on. If it looks a little dry I'll add some vegetable oil until I get the consistency I want.

Can anyone recommend a decent esl bookshop in Bangkok. I only know of Chula, next to British Council in Siam. Any other suggestions would be most helpful.
Thanks

Make sure that whatever photo you give them is a recent one. At a visit to CW last month, I gave them a photo that was 2-3 years old.
The officer wouldn't accept it. It was definitely me (I haven't changed THAT much).
So, I'll be giving them a new photo every year from now on.

Just a quick update.
My birthday was on the 2nd June, and my first state pension payment arrived in my SCB account early on 3rd July.

There is a consumer protection office at the government office complex at Chaeng Wattanna, Bangkok.
My wife used them when we had a problem with our truck and the main dealer was unhelpful.
They set up a meeting between the two parties and listened to both sides of the story.
After no agreement was made, they suggested my wife take the dealer to court. They did all the paperwork for her. Finally, on the day of the court hearing, a settlement was made, (Which we were very happy with) 'Out of Court'.
This was a free service. We paid nothing.
Don't waste your time with the police.

Thanks for that recommendation. I've just had a look at their website and I'll give them a visit soon.

With respect, with no claims experience you're hardly in a position to recommend them over any other broker or insurer, then. Are there any insurance brokers that have issues accepting premiums!?
With respect, I'm not recommending them above any other broker. I'm merely passing on my experience with this broker to anyone who might be interested.

What has your claims experience with them been like over the past five years?
Fortunately, I've never had to make a claim. However, all my other experiences with the company have been dealt with promptly and efficiently, so I have no reason to think that a claim would present a problem, or be any different.

How did you get them to pay direct to SCB ?
When I called to claim my state pension, they asked me what bank I'd like the funds to be put into, and I gave them all my SCB details including SWIFT code.
I called the international number.

I just got the letter today. As you said, every 4 weeks. I can't see any exact date of payment.
Do you know if there's a delay between 4 weeks from my birthday, and the day it lands into my Thai bank account?

My 66th birthday was on June 2nd, so I'm expecting my first UK state pension payment in July. I'm having it paid direct into my SCB account. Can anyone give me a rough idea when the funds might be available please.

I've owned my Extender for 3+ years.
I've had no issues with it. I previously owned a Toyota Pre-Runner and 2 Mazda BT50's. In my opinion the build quality is certainly as good as the Mazda, and running costs are around the same.
Mine is the 4-door, auto, i-smart model. It has an incredible spec for the money; 5 years free parts and labour servicing, disc brakes all round, tyre pressure sensors, auto lights, large screen infotainment system, cruise control, loads of legroom in the back, plus more.
I paid less than 800,000 baht for mine.
Would I buy another one?..........Yes.
Go and have a look at one.

I kid you not .... today went alone via car to Land Transport office and found it clumbsy to look to my Google maps directions with Assistant voice..
Just now asked gf to look for a phone holder for car dash tomorrow.
The OP is making simple difficult.
Not at all.
I currently use Google maps on my phone, in the car. I just wanted to know if it was possible to replace the existing Tom Tom app on my infotainment system, with the Google maps app.
If I can't, I'll just carry on using G maps from my phone.
The screen in my MG is huge. It'll be much easier to look at that, rather than a mobile phone screen.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the user manual is in Thai.
Maybe a trip to the dealership is the way forward.
