Thai Consulate Savannakhet Policy Change
tubber replied to Tod Daniels's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I haven't been to Savannakhet since before Covid but I can only see this as a good thing? Depends how far apart the appointments are and how many staff they have checking applications they might be able to process quite a lot in a day? If you are on a Non-O Married to a Thai, like I was, you should know roughly when you need to renew and book a reasonable distance in advance. -

Court shakes up Senate race: Judge advises removal of EC regs
tubber replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
One newspaper claimed 31,000 people had asked for applications to apply for the Senate. The EC expects around 100,000 candidates. It would be a mammoth and inconceivable task to expect journalist to research each and every one in such a short space of time. Will they be vetted by the EC? Is the list available to the public in the initial stages? -

The original 2 year sentence was for "Abuse of Power" when he filed murder charges against Suthep and Abhisit at the behest of the Yingluck government. He's a snake, he served under the Democrat government then the turned to Pheu Thai in an attempt to save his own skin. He did have Liver disease or something so he may well be in hospital. -
