  1. The bank said there was error in the app and to try again next week. I'll try again next week, if I still can't get it to work I'll go back to the bank. Possibly try to open a Kasikorn account.
  2. Has any non-Thai managed to register on the app recently, in the last few weeks, and actually get it to work? I have tried and failed miserably along with bank staff.
  3. Never had a problem receiving an OTP abroad.
  4. Went in to a Krung Thai Bank branch today as I couldn't get the KTB Next app to work. Did the usual form signing etc. 3 women in the bank couldn't get it to work. One of them was on my phone, another was changing settings on the banks computer and the other woman was their boss. They eventually phoned someone who told them there was an error with the app. They told me to try again next week. I don't know if this was just to get rid of me and save face or there really is an error with the app. It kept saying "Unable to confirm" when they tried to register.
  5. Hopefully that is the case, I will see tomorrow when I go to the bank.
  6. I don't like using phones and find it easier to do everything on a laptop which is what I am on now. I have downloaded and installed Krung Thai Next app on my phone. I will go in to the bank tomorrow and see what they say.
  7. All the recent reviews in the app store are 1 star. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ktbcs.netbank&hl=th&gl=US
  8. Krungthai Next ver 12.11 is the one I have installed on an Android phone.
  9. Maybe you have an older version of the app? If you download the one in the app store you can't do anything on wi-fi, it tells you to switch to mobile data. When you switch to mobile data it goes straight to facial recognition.
  10. I am in exactly the same situation. Krung Thai internet banking was just as you say, simple and efficient. The new app is a disaster if you read the reviews. Facial recognition and only via data, no wi-fi connection allowed. I was also going to go to Kasikorn in the next few days. It was either Kasikorn, SCB or Bangkok Bank. Interested to know how you get on. I'll update this in a couple of days if I can open a new account with internet banking. I also have a Government Savings Bank account but you have to be a Thai Citizen to have internet banking.
  11. Is that place next to the bus station in Nakhon Phanom still open? AEC?
  12. Just had a look at the Thai Embassy in London Website. Have they stopped doing 1 year Non-O multiple entry visas?
  13. It was November 2020 I applied for a non-O and it was only single entries that were possible.
  14. It think it was £10K but not 100% sure.
  15. I can confirm it. I applied for a non-O based on marriage back early-mid 2021 and only a single entry was possible. I applied in May this year and a 1 year multiple entry was one of the options. I received an email a couple of days after the application with the E-visa attached.
  16. For the Seiko I would contact Seiko Thailand in Bangkok. If it is a few years old get it serviced as well. I recently had a SBDC029 (6R-15) repaired, serviced, pressure tested and regulated. If I remember correctly it was B3,000.
