  1. I recieve since some Weeks a free financial Newsletter, where the Publisher will send you any Update to your Mailbox,

once a new Transaction is made

my Problems are, that English ist not my native Language - and I have never traded Options before - so I am unsure,

what exactly does all this mean and how to trade the same Way

Can someone help me out ?

  2. I am looking for a Thailand based Stock Brokerhouse, what allows me to invest in international monthly/quaterly Dividend ETFs

the Cost for purchase and hold these Stocks/ETFs should be more than reasonable

I am also looking for an Exchange of Informations and Ratings of these financial Products with other TV Members

for Example, here is a List of 100 high Yield Dividend ETFs

    http://etfdb.com/2012/101-high-yielding-etfs-for-every-dividend-investor/

and here is a List of Preferred Stocks and their Yields

I am looking forward to learn from all of you

  3. I try to get familiar with the Idea, to use Epoxy and Fibreglass to build me a small Watervehicel

basicly, it should become a Catermaran - using 2 Kayaks as my Base and completing the "Deck" with Epoxi and Fibreglass

a small Engine would complete me Task - and a "Ruder" of course ...

I must admit, I rarely have used these Materials - beside Fixing rusty Holes on my old Cars Long time ago - and it ended up messy...

But basicly - it should be not too difficult to use these Materials to build nearly everything

Whatever you have built with Epoxy or similar Materials - post it here and give me and others an Idea or Advice, for what it could be used

Even if you just have thought about to do somoething similar - lets share the Idea

    Cheers

  4. Beware! The work permit brigade will be along shortly and in addition farming is a "forbidden" occupation! Good luck. My wife offloads ours to someone who comes by the house but makes next to nothing! She always says how much she is making but conveniently forgets to factor in the cost of growing them! It's the Thai way!

..beware! The work permit brigade will be along shortly...

huih, do you have a problem with this?

    I dont...

  5. My Girlfriend lives in a small Province in Korat, Soeng Sang

it is a very unspoiled Area of Thailand - 50 km around nearly no Industry and close to the Khao Yai National Park

I have been to the local Wholesale Market and have seen Lots of mouthwatering Vegetables, ready packet for Transport

I am searching for a possible Buyer of These fresh Vegetables in Bangkok

I have attached a few Fotos of the packed Veggies..

I have simply no Idea with whom to talk to and where to start

any Idea, how to get started?

  6. just recently, 7/11 has added a "Mineral" Water with some dietary Minerals...

    what made me thinking:

what the Standard "Mineral" Qater here in Thailand has done to my Body?

it has withdrawn These dietary Minerals from my Body, due to the natural

disolving Power of These Minerals in Water ...

( sorry, english is not my mother language - maybe my use of words are not appropriate )

what do you People think about this?

  7. @ OP

Best of luck finding a 'reasonable' lawyer. Will just cost you more money with no guarantee of getting the deposit back. Just assume you won't get the deposit back and build into your business costs. If you do get it back treat as a bonus.

thank you very much for your advice - hence, this is quite common, when a foreigner tries to get his deposit back

I had a smaller "Incident" with such a Problem with a Thai - but calling more than 3 Months this Person, his Family and Friends and complaning about -

after all, I got my Money back

  8. thank you sooo much for your answer till now - not helpfull at all

this is quite unusual for thaivisa member post - maybe a bad day?

I will take it this way...

the Biz is a small Guesthouse - and if all of you are so bright,

I will enlight you, with 2 possibel solutions :

the contract is in Thai Language - made between Thais

so why not use a Laywer for secure the Deposit in his Office - including a Contract with the Conditions,

what Need to happen, that some Money from the Deposit could be taken away from the Business Owner

    or

a new created bankaccount, where Money could be taken away from this Account ONLY

with the Signature of both - the Depositor and the Business Owner ?

I will listen to you ágain - please enlight me now :-)

and have a better Day than Yesterday

  9. A fellow Countryman introduced me to a Form of Workpermission, I never hear about!

    Following Conditions must apply:

Any Foreigner who is together with a Thai Lady must proove his buddhistic Marriage

You open a small Business - a Restaurant for instant

Applying to the Immigration for a "Partnershipt Workpermit"

it will be granted after approval

    Is this true?

many "huzzels" for us Foreigners would simply disappear

  10. I get a weekly Newsletter from Mauldin Economics

He is predicting, that Interest Rates will soar sooner or later

    just some Words from him:

...Despite Bernanke's promise to keep rates low, the free markets are taking over,

and long-term interest rates are starting to rocket higher.

As a result, sovereign bond prices are plunging.

Hardly surprising. When rates are artificially low as a result of the financial repression

coming from central banks, there is nowhere to go but back up. It's the next phase of the endgame.

Investors around the world are finally realizing that central banks can keep interest rates artificially

    depressed for only so Long.

It's a very dangerous phase. Many investors, seeing rates rise on Treasury bonds and notes,

are attracted to the higher yields. They've conveniently forgotten about all the dangers out there,

and many are now plowing money back into Treasury securities - and even worse, into bond funds.

That would be fine in normal times. But we're not in normal times

We're in a new normal, where you have to be extremely careful about every financial decision you make.

Especially when it comes to boosting and securing your investment income.

Buying bonds and Treasury notes right now - even as the yields appear more attractive -

is the worst thing you could do for your portfolio.

You could lose an entire year's worth of income in just a few weeks as bond and note prices fall.

At this stage of the endgame, there's another big mistake many investors make:

they cling to traditional income-paying stocks, most of which are extremely vulnerable

    to a rising interest-rate Environment

...just some Words - you can read and recieve all this too - "Google" Mauldin Economics and get his free newsletter

Maybe somebody was reading about the "Big Rotation":

Money is flowing massively out of Bond Investemts and pouring into the Stockmarket

    my Questions are:

beside Bonds and dividend paying Stocks - is there any safe alternativ income Investing?

how this rising Interest Rate will affect our Life here in Thailand and back home?

  11. Thank you very much for this very interesting Contribution to myThread

I see, there are so many Things to consider - even a Marriage, to get control - but this is fair enough

    Lets consider your suggested "plan":

I have a Child - I marry the Mother - what else could stop me to stay in control on any purchase of Land in Thailand or other related Subjects ?

we have gone far already - much appreciated

but I still waging my possible Actions in a Kind of return - what I can "win" - or never win ?

  12. my Child beinglegal Shareholder of my Thai Company?

    interesting Aspect..

Well - from the Thread of Mario2008, one Thaivisa Member states, the Legalisation of my Fathership could be done that easy:

go with the Mother and the Baby to the Family Court of your Province, provide Copy of your Passport, the Birth Certificate and

the ID Card of the Mother - pay for Stamps around 600 Baht and return in 1 Month for picking up the Legalisation Document

This seems very Logical to me

  13. Again - thank you very much for your Help

now it clears some of the Circumstances

in this Post, there is mentioned, that some Amphurs are accepting "as Young as 3 Years old" -

Taking a respected local Person with you might increase your Chance on Registration at an early Age....

That would be a Way to go for and to try it

The elected "Village Major" will probably be the best Choice to take with to the Amphur

Worth a Try - even if it is NOT according to the Law?
