  1. The first time I went to the tiger temple about six years ago I loved it went back to it about two years ago and hated it it had changed from being a temple to a businness I with never ever go back again 1st time there maybe only 20 people there 2nd time about 200 people prices had sky rocketed tigers still in very small cages :) I would not recommend visiting the temple to anyone :D

  2. My advice to you would do not upset any thais always keep your temper under control ,be careful with your cash do not flash it about, keep your wallet in front pocket and remember other backpackers are more likely to steal from you than thais are :)

  3. My card got swallowed two years ago the first thing I did was cancelled my card ordered a new card my girl friend now wife came home from work told me I was a fool she had a friend who works at the bank and she would get my card back that afternoon I got my card back phoned my bank in Scotland and they would not uncancel my card :) I had to wait ten days for a new card

  4. can anyone help me trying to find the cheapest flight to Bangkok only problem is that I have to fly from Glasgow the best deal I have found so far is £482.19 flying with KLM the dates I would like to travel on are 14October returning 24November

Travelocity is marginally less for the same KLM/China Airlines combo. Emirates about the same.

:D if you can plan early your flight, catch a promo with www.airasia.com sometimes only 412 £ :D

    but via Kuala Lumpur.

I have just had a look at airasia web site flights only from London no use for me by the time i add on the costs to travel to London :)

  6. Some countries apply a higher tax on alchohol % by volume. So if the green is stronger say 40% then there will be a higher tax on it than say the gold label which is 35%.

No idea of the % for either as i hate Johnnie walker. But might explain it if in Thailand.

I would neverever buy Johnnie Walker again after the way the company payed off 500 staff in Scotland :) overated whisky is Johnnie Walker always take over six bottles of single malt for gifts always keep the best one for myself :D

  7. 10. Seems to be a common thread of shut up and don't say anything. It's a pity because it's a pretty poor reflection on Thai society.

This would be an easy one to sort out back home, he's not so tough, actually very pathetic.

What sort of man points a loaded gun at their wife?

What sort of man fires bullets into a neighbourhood full of kids?

What sort of man turns off all the lights in the house, and hides when the police come knocking - I doubt he's well connected with our local police, otherwise he wouldn't have cowered in his house.

Can you imagine how fast this clown would be sorted out back in the west. I am sure that 99% of people (thai) in the village feel the same way as I do, but don't want to get involved. If everyone backed each here, he'd fold like a cheap suit. Doubt he'd take on the whole village.

I know what Thai's are like when it comes to this stuff, but how much does it take?, how well do the odds have to be stacked in your favour before you step up to the plate?

I mean this is pathetic, do we have to wait until someone's kid cops a bullet in the noodle from this guy before something is done.

    Sad but true :)
