  1. actually and finally headed down there

    an interesting semi-cultural experience

saw two tables set up of pick a number 1-2 or 3

    what are the rules?

    is this legitamate?

is this legal (like it matters)?

    what is the angle?

    (something looks smell fishy here)

  2. how long will the confounded fair/festival on third road and soi excite continue and go on?

can they possible make the music any LOUDER for any LONGER periods of time???? w00t.gif

    rant over

  3. interesting learning experience

i had no idea these cartridges were being used to make coffee now

the co2 and n2o food cartridges are both the same size and shape

those used for pellet guns i believe are larger so not sure if they would work

and yes i think co2 is cheaper than n2o however you may like the sweet-air taste

  4. 2nd road north of pattaya tai south of royal garden

on the suk side of the street (not beach side)

large 2 shop window resturant supply type shop

    ISI 10 whippets 180 baht

    open 364 days a year

    normal business hours

    no credit cards

    got enough info now?

let me know if you find better or cheaper

or know how to get a small tank happening

i have a feeling it is cheap and easy if you KNOW how

    thanks

btw i think it is n2o not no2 FWIW

  5. i tried one of their products

but now not easy to find order and purchase

online in USA and shipped to thailand

    spent hours trying to order

i probably would not otherwise bother had i not tried and liked a gift

also they look like some marketing scam system like amway

are these products ever avaialble retail in thailand

    better yet, pattaya

so far all online webistes in thailand are in thai only

    thanks

  6. service is an important issue as raised,

i would want to bring it back to where i bought it

or a local service center and

have it fixed sooner not later

-what computer manufacturers have service centers in pattaya or is that not an issue?

also i WILL not buy an HP laptop after already owning a lemon of theirs

  7. i called the first few and they all want exorbitant amounts for short trips around town that should be about 100 baht each way

i am willing to pay 200 or 300 tops but more than that is beyond fair and reasonable

my thai friend says it is because many farang are WILLING to pay it

there must be an on call REAL taxi service that is willing to make a decent baht without OVER CHARGING

this is one BIG difference between pat and bkk where you can ALWAYS find a GOOD taxi

so far not much luck YET

  8. Back in 2004, my first trip to Thailand. Met a girl at the Sabai Room facility. Skipping the details, she was nice. Her friend or uncle or brother or whatever he was had a pickup truck and we had him drive us around a bit for two days. Went to Nong Nooch, Million Year Crocodile Park, Gold Buddha mountain, etc. Just a suggestion. Barring any solid leads, should not be too hard to strike up a conversation at just about any bar and somebody probably knows somebody with a car. Now, as far as licensed and insured, and a good driver, well, that is why you should be sure your own policy and coverage works in Thailand. A great first trip and to this day, after 13 visits, was still one of my best. Just everything worked out well.

    good idea

but not very direct simple or efficient

this page looks good for contacts and alternatives
