I need a small program to get rid of some business data frequently. means, overwrite it many times so it can not be restored.

browsing the several download-websites in the net, I didnt find any program that gets REALLY good reviews. which one do use and recommend ?

its okay if it is shareware, I dont mind spending a few bucks to buy the full licence later, but wanna use it for free first to find out if it suits my needs.....

This is nothing about anti-semitism, it's about behaviour of some tourists. You should be able to criticize an Israeli without being stuck with the anti-semite label. Unfortunately the PC brigade is always waiting to pounce.

I agree.... but for the same reasons, it should be allright to criticize Thailand in this board sometimes and not being stuck with the "Thailand-basher" label.

I found out that user SIAM-INDO did not post here since June 2006. his post's were always helpful and I know he runs that company with same name.

I have never been supporting the death penalty in my entire life (which I mostly spent in Western Europe)..... but after living in Thailand for 2 years, and learning that people do kill each other here for no f.u.c.k.i.n.g reason (f.e.: after they lost face, they just HAD to kill their opponent), I now support, but only for murder.

rapists or drugdealers should go to jail, but I think the death penalty is then too harsh for that....

learning about the useless KOH PHANGAN killing of an Israeli tourist today, this convinces me even more that the death penalty should be carried out sometimes. though, that "son of a local politician" will probably never experience this kind of punishment....

a special case, I think. I do have a health insurance in my home country, which for some reasons, I will not cancel at least until end of 2007. then will decide what to do.

now I need a limited extra insurance while I am outside my home country for any case of accident or emergency. I cannot apply for a regular traveling-health-insurance (have one actually, but after 90 days no more coverage) as 1.) these usually only cover travel up to 90 days after leaving ur home country and 2.) have to be concluded BEFORE u actually leave ur home country.

any recommendations for such a short-term insurance ? Allianz, Generali or BUPA offering such ? what do they cover ? what are the exclusions ?

Of course I could call all those insurance companies myself, but I am not sure if I would encounter english speaking staff who are firm with all the details there, so I would rather like to learn from other people's experiences.

and if the friendly posters could give me a first impressions about the costs, that would be nice as well.

thanks for the replies so far. its only recently that I got at least a savings account with Bangkok Bank, so I am not sure if they would give me a safe immidiately. and I know from my home country, that those safes are rather small, usually for jewellry and such items. but I need a safe or a box that fits something like a bigger sales-rep-case.

A-TRAVELLER, u mentioned those PRIVATE safety deposit providers. do you have knowledge of any address or phone number ? that would be most helpful....

while downloading the TRUE ADSL software in my new home, my AVIRA ANTIVIR program alerted me of a backdoor-trojan called "BDS/CWZ.1". a performed google search did not make me much wiser.....

did anybody else encounter this problem ? I heard that ANTIVIR gives FALSE ALARM from time to time.

so I would be interested to know if there is anybody running ANTIVIR and downloaded TRUE ADSL SOFTWARE lately....

does anybody know if banks or trustful lawyers do provide a safe for rent for a limited time (1 month or so) to store some very important items (laptop and business papers) for a few weeks while I am outside Thailand ?

I dont want to leave at it my appartement, because if its lost (burglary) I will be dead meat.......
