  1. Yep. It's not the 80's any more. Maybe time to put away that Proclaimers LP and swing a leg into 2023.
  2. He is only just starting. He already brought the UK out of the corrupt EU. He is going after the politically biased lefty virtue signalling banks now. With success again. Store up that hate. Hold onto that anger. You're going to need it.
  3. I wasn't aware Farage was a British MP. I wasn't aware Farage represents all Brexiteers. He is entitled to his opinion as any private citizen is. On this issue I disagree with him. Fortunately the British people made it a moot point. It was a huge victory which was implemented. A victory for Democracy against left wing big state, big government, federalist authoritarianism. Nice one Nige...
  4. Great news for responsible savers. Interest rates have been way too low for far too long. Good to see some fiscal responsibility.
  5. Remainers are not renowned for their respect of Democratic processes and principles? Calling people they disagree with Bigots? Yes Respecting votes? Not so much
  6. I am not aware of any. After all the drama they seem to have acknowledged it's just a bit of paperwork.
  7. Taking rules? ???? We are voluntarily using their certification until we don't want to any more. Plain and simple. Must really burn to see the UK economy growing while Germany's stagnates.
  8. Taking the bits we want, ditching the bits we don't want. #bestofbothworlds
  9. Voluntarily using their certification until we don't want to any more. Doing what we want, when we want. #wedowhatwewant
  10. Sunak's diplomatic way of saying "We'll remove it when we're good and ready because we do what we want with your certification".
  11. Exactly. We'll take the bits we want. Just like they said we couldn't.
  12. Yep, despite leaving the EU we outperformed Germany. Cliff edge? lol. #therewasnocliffedge
  13. They postponed it - whoopydoo. A sensible move IMO, it's not a priority. We'll do it when we want. Why? Because we can. The British do what we want, when we want. No more being told what to do by the failing corrupt federalist EU #thankgodweleft
  14. I thought the EU said we couldn't just pick the parts we wanted. Seems like we can after all. More Remainer lies being exposed. #therewasnocliffedge
  15. Yet despite leaving, we are outperforming the EU's powerhouse economy, Germany. Strange huh. It's almost like there was no cliff edge after all. #projectfearwasalie
  16. Actually I prefer to support local businesses than buy overpriced swill from huge multinational corporations.
  17. A lot of Joe's lies will start emerging over the next couple of years. It's just a case of whether the Dems can bury them until after the next election, like they did with the laptop in the previous election. Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.
  18. But that's the whole point. It's a massive deflection away from the failings of the current administration. A massive deflection away from Joe Biden's declining cognitive functioning and his son's debauchery. "Hey, look over there at the bad guy". Meanwhile... https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/01/business/fitch-downgrade-us-debt/index.html
  19. Thanks for the heads up. I now know which coffee shop to avoid if I don't want to meet lefty, sanctimonious, pearl clutching, woke virtue signallers. Enjoy your latte
  20. Much ado about nothing. Just The Guardian being sore losers again. So we're keeping a logo for a few more years. Big deal. The main point is we won't be paying billions of pounds into the failing, corrupt EU federalist project to prop up countries like Greece and Poland. We'll just use their logo, essentially picking the parts we want. All the benefits with none of the drawbacks. No flies on the UK. The EU has bigger problems at hand, with it's economic powerhouse Germany flailing around. https://www.euronews.com/2023/07/30/germany-expected-to-be-only-major-economy-not-to-grow-this-year
  21. It can vary from case to case. But generally, the needless virtue signalling and the sanctimony. https://torontosun.com/business/money-news/bud-light-distributors-give-up-no-longer-expect-sales-to-recover
  22. It was pretty obvious to me. I recognized what it was straight away. But everyone is different. How about being respectful of everyone and just keeping portrayals of mastectomys out of coffee shops? They might or might not. But kids are curious and likely to ask their parents what it is. Then the parent has to either have a difficult conversation or lie. How about we avoid putting them in that situation and letting them enjoy their coffee by keeping portrayals of mastectomys out of coffee shops?
  23. Maybe you wouldn't. How about a woman who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer? What image will that conjure up for them? What about a young kid asking their mother what it is. Is that a conversation the mother necessarily wants to have (or to have to make up a story to avoid having) at that particular time? Maybe they prefer just to sit and talk about their favourite flavour ice cream? Like I said, just leave it out. It's not appropriate in that setting.
  24. Everyone is different. To me it conjures up an image of a breast being sliced off. Not really what I want to think about as I sip my double milk Matcha Latte. How about respecting everyone and leaving the imagery and ideology out of the coffee shop? Can people not just relax for an hour without having to think about mastectomys?
