  1. Dear Potential Counselors:

Please don't roll your eyes and think "here we go again." Please remember that I am a newbie and need help from you who are veterans of situations such as mine.

I met a massage boy ...[edit].....not be genuine.

    Gratefully yours,

    ALEX

You are being swindled. Pump the blood out of your penis and get it back into your head.

  2. What was so embarrassing at Manchester Airport? Did you have your flies open perhaps? Pray tell.

I would apologise for the delay in my reply but you would,nt give a s**t any way so I wont.

I (Brit and Sheffield United supporter) took my wife (Thai) to England for the first time.

    1. 12 hour flight was made to wait on the tarmac one hour before disembarking. We came from Singapore. Some passengers had come all the way from New Zealand.

    2. Disembarked onto the tarmac and had to wait for buses to take us to..

3.Something that looked like Sheffield train station in about 1975.

    4. My wife asked me why the carpets were ripped up and the bins were overflowing

This was about 7 on a Sunday morning by the way

5.We waited in the non European passport holders que for about 45 minutes with a 2 year old child.

We pass through the Thai passport channel in Thailand every time and are encouraged by the very helpfull staff at hand.I hold a British passport.

    6. We payed something like 60 quid for my wife to be given a six month tourist visa to the UK,,,sour puss face bitch at immigration in Manchester asked how long she would be staying and remarked that my passport was dirty.

You can stick the UK up yer a**

I have been away for 16 years now.

When I left I was signed off the dole.

Now I make more than 60 thousand quid a year in Asia.

Sorry but Manchester airport and the rest of it is crap,,,,,why would you want to stay in the UK?

WE ENCOUNTERED THE MOST SOUR, UNMITIGATED, DISGUSTING, BITCH OF A BRITISH FEMALE OFFICER AT THE EUROSTAR STATION IN PARIS RECENTLY. SHE WAS MORE NASTY THAN THE REDNECK AMERICAN IMMIGRATION OFFICERS IN TEXAS. TOTALLY INSULTING AND COMPLETELY UNPLEASANT. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO BRITIAN. SHE MUST HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO MANCHESTER.

  3. I travel regularly to Amsterdam and have done so the last couple of times via Bangkok with Eva Air. I don't know if it's because of the late time passengers arrive at the gate, but the ground staff there are totally incompetent. They have no control whatsoever over the boarding procedure which makes me wonder what would happen if they really had to control the crowd in the case of an emergency? As usual, the biggest handicap is their lack of English skills; whatever they try to say is incomprehensible, but they don't even try to establish any order when it's time to get on the plane. Have passengers leaving on other flights had the same experience?

I FLY REGULARLY TO AMSTERDAM ON EVA AND HAVE YET TO EXPERIENCE ANY INCOMPETENCE AS DESCRIBED. BEING A FORMER MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF AN AIRLINE I THINK THAT I AM QUALIFIED TO MAKE A CONSIDERED OBERVATION OF OPERATIONS.

  4. Radar crackdown on expressway speeders

    Express warning

BANGKOK: -- Drivers with a need for speed will have to find a new place to zip along at 120 kilometres per hour

Speeders driving at more than 120 kilometres an hour on expressways can expect surprise radar checks and heavy fines.

Driving at 120 exceeds the legal limit of 80kph, says Lt-Colonel Dussadee Sukarasape, a senior traffic policeman attached to an expressway station.

Police have relaxed the universal speed limit of 80 on expressways but are stricter with habitual speeders.

Last year there were 29,548 speeding offences prosecuted. More than 5,000 of these were by women and almost 61,000 were caught on radar checks. The fastest clocked was 272kph.

Motorists caught speeding face a Bt500 fine, deduction of 30 points and a 15-day suspension.

After a long grace period, speed checks are now conducted twice a day, twice a week - at both rush hours and non-rush hours. Mondays and Fridays are the most popular days for speed checks.

Locations and times of these checks are chosen randomly by different police units performing duties on three special toll ways - the first-stage and second-stage expressways, and the Don Muang toll way.

    Advance warning

The officer says "speed checks ahead" signs will from now on be erected in advance to warn motorists. Vehicles detected with radar will be issued tickets at tollgates ahead. Violators are required to pay fines within seven days. They can seek picture evidence at police stations the day after.

Dussadee says a new type of radar, although not as sophisticated as those used by the Highway Police, also record pictures along with speed records. "With the previous type we used, traffic policemen had to write down licence plate details and descriptions of violators' cars by hand," he adds.

Buses and lorries with six wheels cannot drive faster than 80 kilometres on expressways and toll ways.

Sakdichote Mangsachart, 32, says he watches out for speed checks whenever he uses toll ways after being fined Bt400 for driving at 136kph - a speed he used to travel at regularly until the surprise checks.

Sucheewa Noothong, 29, says she was recently fined Bt500 for speeding at more than 120kph.

  5. hi guys

this is my first post here.

I am thinking of making a side trip to Chiang Rai in the middle of may. only for a couple of days.

I have been searching and not much information found about gaylife there. Yeah I know it is a small city :D

Anyone have suggestions at hotels or guesthouses with no problem bringing a friend back.

On internetsearch I have found 2 bars, but they both look like gogo or hostbars, but I am not so much into that kind of bars, I dont remember their names, but any other suggestions to places where you can relax and have fun whit the local guys?

    Thanks for you help

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU GOOGLE "PURPLE ROOFS" GAY HOTEL GUIDE AND SEARCH FOR GAY AND GAY FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS IN CHIANG MAI. :o OR ALL AROUND THE WORLD FOR THAT MATTER.

ALSO, GOOGLE "PJ's" PLACE WHICH IS GAY OWNED AND MANAGED. :D THE HOSTS HAVE ALL KINDS OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAY SCENE IN TOWN. THE ROOMS ARE IMMACULATE AND THE BREAKFAST IS SUPERIOR. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH BRINGING HOME "FRIENDS". THEY ARE LOCATED AT THE END OF A VERY QUIET DEAD-END STREET AND ARE CLOSE TO TOWN. THIS IS THE BEST QUALITY AND PRICE IN THE CITY, WHICH IS VERY BIG.

  6. The SO WHAT is that I am not going to patronize a place where I enjoyed the aspect of a friendly front staff that made me feel welcome, IN SPITE OF MY SEXUALITY! Who cares what Mr. Vicaros sexual orientation is, the service is now not there. So I shall vote with my feet and go somewhere else, straight or gay.

  7. Only the owners and Mr. Vicaro know the real truth behind this foolishness. Who cares anyhow why he was fired as owners do not need a valid reason. He was the face of the place and charmed diners and created a loyal following. :D Since Mr. Vicaro is no longer there then I shall be no longer there. I just cannot believe the owner's statement that gay had nothing to do with the firing. If Mr. Vicaro was such a valued employee as stated, why, in the interest of developing revenue, was he sacked? :o

  8. :D I fly EVA on commute trips to the SFO and AMS from BKK and appreciate the excellent service and good food but my experiences with counter personnel are similar of those of the other writers. With EVA the secret solution to any problem with a counter person is the demand to talk with the station chief/supervisor. :o

It is my opinion that the EVA in-service training for the counter personnel is terrible. :D My companion and I were refused boarding, with business-class confirmation tickets in hand, recently in SFO for a flight to AMS through TPE & BKK because my credit card numbers did not match the on-line confirmation. (Replacement card for one stolen.) The counter folks were in a total quandary as to what to do. Six agents formed a debating team and in Chinese, :bah: which my companion speaks, argued as to what to do. The team literally became immobilized but did, strangely and without my objection, and with broad smiles all around, check our luggage through to the aircraft with AMS flags! My companion panicked :D but I told him to hush up as I knew what was coming having been on the board of an airline.

Their final solution was to take us to a business computer center where I repurchased the open jaw tickets on-line at which point we were five minutes from push back (and you know the 5-minute rule). We were finally boarded after all this with the second push-back time now being 55 minutes later than the scheduled departure time. They wanted to book us on the next-day flight but when I pointed out that our luggage was already in the cargo hold and that I would notify SFO FAA (after the flight was on wheels up) that our unaccompanied luggage would be flying without us, (a big no-no in the industry) the sup recalled the plane, which was now rolling on the taxi way to the departure strip, back to the gate and boarded us. The SFO counter also charged me a $200 "change fee" which I paid just to get the hel_l out of Dodge.

This was very expensive for EVA (wasted fuel and a ding with the FAA for false departure, extra fuel to make up the time to TPE for outbound connections, irate on-board passengers, blocking of the bay for an in-coming, etc.) :D The sup in TPE refunded the additional ticket costs and fees and apologized profusely. The sups at BKK and AMS had been alerted about the incident by the SFO sup and there was more bowing and scraping at those two stations and royal treatment in the EVA first class Evergreen lounges.

Poor in-service training is a disaster for the air carriers. :bah:

Again, the secret is to demand the station sup: :o His ass in on the line for the conduct of his staff and operations and especially, customer relaltions. I am sure that this poor SFO station chief was raked over the coals for this episode. I must say, however, that these are isolated incidents with EVA but when they occur they are whoppers. The SFO chief quietly thanked me for not waiting until after wheels-up. He knew his career would be ending at that moment otherwise. ;)

The amusing factor in all of this was that some of the business class passengers (yes, we had business class tickets from the beginning! EVA has equal opportunity harassment regardless of class) thought that we were air marshals arriving late. They enjoyed the SFO-TPE leg immensely because of the immediate protection. But the cabin crew knew the story and we received the best service imaginable. :D

  9. My partner and I attended the Jomtien International Party on the 17 December. Following are our observations:

Considering that part of the entertainment was tired out old drag queens lip syncing, the master of ceremonies blabbing on and on, and the Mr. Gay Jomtien contest being a superficial boy bar parade, the entrance fee was out of line. What the hel_l was international about the affair? The German om pah band? The Pilipino singers (who were excellent)? The nationality of the master of ceremonies? The nationalities of the audience? The term "International" was pure hyperbole designed to lure the unsuspecting and relieve them of their money. :D

Considering that the food buffet tickets of 150 THB was for salad and fruit and that the farang organizers used their dirty fingers to eat directly out of the food trays (disgusting) the cost was out-of-line and should have been included in the entrance fee. :o

Considering that the organizers used a "bait and switch" tactic on the food sales, telling us that there was a buffet and then charging for the individual dishes the cost was out of line. :D

Considering that the main dishes were bland and tasteless there should have been no charge as it seems that the best that Flamboyant, Asia Moon and Mignon could do was sending the dregs of their kitchens. The crap should have been given or thrown away. :D

Considering that the whole affair appeared to be an event to maximize revenues for the organizers and minimize quality of presentation, we will not be attending again. Nor will we patronize the restaurants that let the organizers and audience down by sending sub-standard food. :bah:

What a rip-off was the 100 THB roses.

Bah humbug! This was just another example of quick-buck unethical greedy gays exploiting other unsuspecting, supportive gays. A pox on your houses!

Are we the only ones who saw through this charade? :D

  11. I am 75 years young and my boy friend is 25 years old. We have been together day and night for more than 4 years. Still have not had a serious fight, still find each other sexy and we spend long hours in intellectual conversation and explore our environment extensively. We both are very well education and in professional positions. That may help but in my humble opinion age differentials are not the poblem: it is experience and intelligence differentials that count for the nagative relationship. One can offset the other and equalize. That model has worked for us.

  12. :o BUMRUNGRAD HOSPITAL IS CLEARLY THE ANSWER HERE. STATE-OF-THE-ART PROCEDURES AND EQUIPMENT.

I am interested in getting cosmetic surgery on my upper eye lids ( droopy upper eye lids).

What are your impressions or recommendations in BKK?

How long to fully recover and what did you pay?

    Any complications?

I plan on getting Lasik then later i want to fix my eye lids since i won't have glasses to hide behind!

Please let me know of your experiences with this surgery.

    Thanks!

  13. THE DEED IS DONE. LET'S GET ON WITH OUR LIVES. IN THE LONG TERM, IS THIS DECISION GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY? THAI LOVES THAI SUGGESTS THAT FARANGS ARE LESS LOVABLE. FARANGS ARE CONTRIBUTORS TO THE GOOD OF THE ECONOMY WHICH IN TURN PUTS THAIS TO WORK. PERHAPS THERE WILL BE A NEW POLITICAL PARTY FORMED INTERESTED IN REAL DEMOCRACY (NOT IN THE DEFINITION OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY, WHICH IT IS NOT UNDER THE CURRENT KING GEORGE).
