  1. when ever i sit with them try to speack their language and be as my thai friends are they never make fun, not even behind my back they respect me,

yes i do the wrong wai sometimes. and i call my mother-in-law dog sometimes, and then i start saying sorry.

but when ever there is work to be done i do it, work on our farm or someone esle farm i do it, lady down the street i help.

so i guess if you want to go native, must also become one in your help, and everything else.

i want to prin out the plans but it seems the link is not correct and my wife now back in thailand i have no idea how to get there, can you please send me the main page where you selected from the houses, there was another house that was white. maybe i can get a quote while the mrs is there.

i would keep the lower floor open so that the dogs can stay there a workshop, and the wife can sing her head off to the koroeke machine.

  3. nice house jason thai,touch wood :o

and this is a great example wish we can have more examples such as this one.

as i am planning to also start building my wife says that 1mil will make the hosue of her dreams.

i am hoping to build one that is raised to gain more land space, would that cost more?

lost the link but there was a guy who had a link for the goverment design houses or something like that i need to go search for it

  4. i agree about the somtam part

as for the bridges and what not, if made they shoudl be made the thai way archtecture and so on,

and i am not talking aboyt the postive things i am talking about the negative from eth western world.

when it rains and teh electricty goes out i live that.

and i belive you know what i mean by not changing it :o

i enjoy always reading your posts,

for me,to answer you question, i am planning to do a full tour of nongbualamphu,

as much as it is a small place and when ever people hear it there is a smile goining on.

i belive it has a big potential, unfortunatly now i am back home saving money to start building a house, but once that is done i am all for this idea of yours.

driving on the road between udn and nongbua there are many waterfalls and many national parks, that need to be identified.

so hopfully this topic will generate a list to were people can head,

and with all the expats coming all i HOPE is they do not want to change issan to become falang country like they do in other areas or cities, and that the issan people keep their style of living we all admire.

and i think this should way of living should be protect by the expats, and for teh love of god only eat falang food in eth big cities. where i hope nongbualamphu city will never get a pizza hut or macdonalds

  6. now i have to admit something when ever i eat fried onions home tod, i do not stink not at all but when i back fire that is teh worst case scenario anyone can have, and do nto tell me none of you has some kind of food that make them break wind in an attractive way,

after all most guys wher saying how much their wives do not like them arting in bed hahahah

so food does have to do with the smellness of people. and the indian subcontinent is one place i will avoid going,
