It doesn’t matter what OP headline says. At the races, if my horse wins by 6 lengths I collect; by 1 length I collect; by a head I collect; by a short half head I collect; by a nose in a photo I collect. A narrow winner is still a winner. Besides it wasn’t a narrow victory.

You know who is genuinely happy? Not just "anti Trump happy", is entities like Boeing. They are the ones partying right now in their mansions, and for good reason.
Anti-Trump: Boeing "the greatest company in the world."?

Looks like the straw that broke the camel's back ,both my locale Tesco's one a big one, has run out of Tesco's tea ,no more now for sure.
Going to have to buy it from the UK ,looked at Barry's tea from Ireland ,but 30 GBP for DHL to send to Thailand......
and, out here, trying to find a decent biscuit to have with your cuppa tea is near impossible. Those Jack and Jill and Oreo are too sweet. Thank goodness, there's Lazada and Shopee.

Chief among them, the orange one, his insane sons, Rambling Rudy, and nearly the entire cabinet. And Graham was not particularly smart to offer assistance with the legal fund, to fight the results. Some seriously inferior and desperate brains at work.
Mike, you wonder what these people are thinking when they throw their weight behind a man who is a compulsive liar lacking any sort of integrity. Surely, losing is better than trying to live with all the deceit necessary to back Trump. At sometime in your life you gotta say: “I am better than this” and walk away believing morality is higher than loyalty

Wirat also rejected protesters’ demand for PM Prayut Chan-o-cha to quit, saying .............protestors should recognise that the PM was selected by the majority of people in the country.
Couldn't lie straight in bed. The majority of people had no say. Prayut didn't even stand in the general elections.

The important word here is "plausibility" ! When you have a convincing liar in full swing, an awful lot of nasty stuff is going to hit the fan, and there is nothing that can be done about it. The liar usually knows that everyone is going to believe them over the other party, and rejoices in creating mayhem. If a reliable witness saw Depp striking Heard then there is a basis for guilt, but if not then there is no solid ground to form a guilty decision.
That's if you're correct and Depp is not some drug-addicted narcissist who gets off on humiliating others and then expecting people to side with him.
Let's see if the future brings an appeal and also the result of Virginia court case.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha gave the green light to amending the Constitution on Wednesday, as Parliament’s two-day special debate on the political crisis wrapped up.
I've heard Aussie MP's tell some beauties over the years, but this man just leaves them for dead. How many years between coup and election? How much corruption really cleaned up? How's the healing and reconciliation going?
Nah! Nothing's going to change.

Absolutely right IMO. Any one bringing a charge against another person that is false or cannot be proven should, IMO, be subject to the same penalty that would be given to the accused had they been convicted.
And any person who pleads not guilty to an offense that they knowingly committed and then is convicted should be given a double penalty. They wasted precious resources and other peoples' time because they refused to take responsibility for their actions.

Giving up family and country for an American hand-me-down will ultimately bring much sadness to this young man's life similar to the pitiful life of his great-great-great uncle.

He said that though the new generation is prioritising charter amendments and democracy, they should understand that the country’s priority now is economic recovery and people’s safety.
In other words, come Monday / Tuesday, parliament is going to be a sham.

Hopefully “Comrade Arden” will get an absolute majority this time and be set free from the chains of a cumbersome coalition.

Doc Martin
I found this while browsing IMBd one day. Quite an enjoyable family show about a a socially challenged doctor who moves from London to the picturesque village of Port Wenn in Cornwall. Martin Clunes is brilliant. Thank goodness there are 10 seasons. I'm only on 3, so lot more to enjoy.

It certainly does
"Meanwhile, 89.9 per cent of respondents said news about political rallies would intensify the economic and Covid-19 crises,"
Intensify the Covid-19 crisis...just goes to show how wrong people can be.
How wide was the spread of Covid-19 after the last rally?
How many hundreds have been infected?
Your illustrious hero lied when he told the protestors that they would put millions at risk because of their protest......just goes to show how wrong some folks can be.

Some of these GOP supporters are a unforgiving lot. I remember when Obama won in 2008. I was working with an American, at the time, and he just hated Obama. He thought the sun shone out of GWB and even before his inauguration in Jan 2009, he just poured it on Obama.
There was no "let's see how this fella turns out and what he does." Just like the poster you responded to....it was just negative bile from the beginning.
