  1. You're a right knowledgeable bastard, aren't you? :o And I am not a Mackem. I was born in Wallsend, therefore making me a red and white Geordie. When you graduate from kindergarten let me know and I'll book you up for primary school classes. :D

With such a poor reply i think we can call this 1-1 after you decimated my post on ex NUFC managers. :D

  2. Imperfect? It didn't work! Women and children were murdered!

    And men were too.

If some Thais are uneducated and foolish enough to support these criminal actions and human rights abuses then they really need to start to listen to foreigners, whether they want to or not.

Didnt realise it was only those without degrees that supported killings, i thought you needed a degree to become a bent Thai copper.

Had to nit pick the second i saw the phrase "uneducated Thais", being an uneducated person myself.

Here saw this today made me laugh a nice little sketch about those dumb uneducated people and you get to see Goldie Hawn in her prime, what a gal!

  3. Like take Ancient City for example, it's privately owned, and if a non Thai goes there its 300baht, but for Thai 100 baht, even if she pulls up in a 4 million baht BMW its still only 100 baht.

Not my experience. I (farang) was asked to go to the queue for Farangs. When the personnel noticed us talking in flawless Thai they waved us over to the Thai queue. We paid the same as Thais. Have been there several times with visitors of mine and it happened every time.

I am happy that learning the language is so much appreciated. In my country people just expect everyone to speak the native language. No recognition whatsoever... If foreigners have a slight accent they are ridiculed mercilessly.

So if you dont speak flawless Thai its ok to be charged extra? What if youre only a 2 week tourist.

Where are foreigners ridiculed for speaking your native language with a slight accent?

In my counrty which is England the government spends 100s of million of pounds on translators and translating documents for non English speakers.

  4. Apart from the %, Japan has an enormous problem and that's NEGATIVE POPULATION GROWTH... something like -0.088% and expected to decrease more.

Minus....no more babies....population is decreasing, and fast.

The budget for the elderly is therefore rising and will consume huge amounts in the decades to come.

Thailand has still a +0.663% population growth.

    LaoPo

All it means is that the elderley in Japan will have to work a few more years, its happenning in most developed countries due to people living longer.

  5. Realmadrid if you find a farang who likes being ripped off let me know and i will come and see to it that he gets ripped off "good and proper".

Maybe the people buy the counterfeit software because they dont want the Thai governement to make tax money from it as they would only use this money for lets say extrajudicial killings of alleged drug dealers hence the person buying these fake goods is actually saving peoples lives how dare to call them a hypocrite.

sure, if that same magnificently principled farang manages to come to thailand without spending money on food, hotels, transportation or anything else.

wouldn't said enlightened being boycot thailand altogether unless of course they were a hypocrite themselves?

also, technically the thai may not actually be breaking the law. the farang certainly is.

I was being facetious, the OP obviousy needs someone to wipe his ass for him to ask such a stupid question.

  7. Nana Hotel is an absolute flee pit, i stayed there 1 night a few years ago and had to check out first thing as the room was a tad too smelly, the bar attached to it is the best place in the world for people watching IMO.

I stay at the Nana every time I visit Bangkok.

Clean rooms with a fridge, good aircon and English TV, a nice, clean swimming pool and huge jakuzzi and huge, free buffet breakfast for about 1,300 and right in the middle of everything and crawling with freindly girls.

Nowhere else comes close for the price!

It does sound more appealing when you put it like that all for 20 quid.

Other people have told me the same thing maybe the room i got was just a bad one, but it was enough to put me off for good.

  8. Is this your tattoo, i went into Shearers bar, Pattaya and saw one of the girls had a Newcastle badge tattooed onto her arm the poor stupid mare, IMO the boyfriend/husband who got her to have this tattoo should be hung at dawn.

no this is a thai lady and i won a bet with her and she went and had it done directly above her privates cow jai i think its "THFC finger lickin good" :o

    .

So she lost the bet and had to get a Spurs tattoo, that sounds about right, what tattoo would she have got if she'd won the bet?

  9. Realmadrid you seem to know a lot about Nana and must have spent a fair bit of time there in the past.

My guess is youre either lying through your teeth and do go there for the ladies, or you go to places full of freelancers and deny it to yourself that the girl you pull is with you for your devastating wit, exotic western looks and undeniable charm, and are too tight to pay her.

  11. Personally from the first time i saw Amoebi i thought he was crap a poor mans Kanu (also sh7te) and was never going to be a top level footballer, he's meant to have been an up and coming player for 8 years now and has been given many chances whereas the equally untallented Chopra was just given a sniff. Andy Carroll is useless aswell and should be gotten rid of along with Peter Ramage, and Taylor should think himself lucky to get a 3 year contract no matter what money he is being offered.

Just because someone was born in the RVI, Freeman or Preston Hospital doesnt earn them the right to a contract no matter how good they are meant to be for team spirit.

PS 3 or 5 mill for Shiela Amoebi is the best bit of business this clubs ever done.

  13. I have just read this on teamtalk.com about our former manager, which highlights how fcuken thick he is and why Keegan has got such a major rebuilding project. This is the man who could have got Sol Campbell on a free and Jonathan Woodgate but opted for a left winger we didnt need instead.

    http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...3359144,00.html

Roeder managed Ameobi during his spell at St James' Park and was keen to land his services for the Canaries only to miss out to the Championship leaders.

He said: "I would have liked Shola here but I was consistently told by Sam Allardyce and then Kevin Keegan that he would not be let out on loan and that he had a future at Newcastle.

"We were always promised a phone call if and when that changed and I found out at seven o'clock on Thursday morning that he was travelling down to Stoke to tie up a loan deal until the end of the season.

"I spoke to Dennis Wise at length and if he is telling me the truth the amount of loan fee that Stoke have paid is incredible.

"I have personally never heard of a higher fee for such a short period of time. Obviously Stoke are gambling that Shola can shoot them up into the Premier League automatically."

Roeder also claims that Stoke have agreed a deal worth a potential £5million to sign Ameobi permanently should they go up, with other reports suggesting the initial fee would be around £3million.

"He [Wise] is telling me that it's attached to potentially a £5 million transfer deal. And I've got to take him for his word," added Roeder.

"I know Dennis reasonably well and that's what he was telling me.

THEN AFTER LETTING THE WORLD KNOW STOKE'S BUSINESS HE GOES ONTO SAY

I'm not obliged to say what Stoke's business is with Newcastle, but it's mind-boggling the amount of money he's told me that Stoke have gambled on Shola to get them in the Premiership.

"Because I believe if they don't do it, there's no way that Stoke - as a Championship side - are going to carry through paying £5 million for a striker that's going to be in the Championship next year."

HOW CAN ANYONE PAY THIS MAN A 7 FIGURE SALARY, AND HE WAS CRAP AT FOOTBALL IN HIS DAY, HE USED TO RUN LIKE A DUCK.

  14. My understanding is that season ticket holders are counted although the attendance figure should reflect the clicks on the turnstiles as the actual attendance on the day could come into reckoning in the event of an emergency.

In days gone by, when standing was allowed and capacities tended to fluctuate, it was not a well kept secret that some clubs reported attendances lower than the actual figures to avoid tax payments. These days that isn't so easy to do, nor altogether necessary in the Premier League due to the money coming in from TV and sponsorship.

Areas of segregation vary widely at some clubs according to the opposition's uptake of tickets offered as well as restrictions imposed by the police or the club itself if they object to the behavour of oppositon fans on previous visits.

For example, Sunderland would require a greater number of seats to be used for a derby with Newcastle and in theory would be more likely to achieve a capacity crowd against a smaller club like Wigan, Blackburn or Chelsea ...

Usually when a mackem says something it is just best to smile at him and nod in agreement no matter how strange what he is saying maybe. As you know when he gets home he has to take care of 6 kids all by different fathers while his wife now 16 stone who was never to clever looking even in her prime is out spending the family giro on raffle tickets at the local Labour clubs weekly meat draw raffle, though she is always thoughful enough to put enough cash by for 600 Mayfair cigarettes and 48 litres of white lightening as a treat for the kids now theyre almost teenagers.

But in this case as the topic is empty seats i would hang off this Mackems every word as he's got a lifetimes knowledge in this area.

  15. I think the reason he didnt give it to Terry is because Ferdinand is first choice CB whereas it could be argued that someone such as Woodgate is more then capable of taking Terry's position.

IMO Ferdinand reads the game far better then Terry hence doent have to make the last ditch stops Terry is renowned for.

England were absolutely awful last night.
