  1. Probably because you are now using Firefox 7 and the current Yahoo Toolbar from Mozzila addons is incompatible.

    Getting Your Yahoo Toolbar Back

by Lamanster on September 27, 2011

    Hello All:

I just updated my Firefox to 7.0 and lost my Yahoo toolbar again. After 30 minutes of trying everything, I discovered that Firefox's Add Ons Manager has the solution. When you get to the Add Ons Manager page, click on "Extensions" tab on the left side of the page. You should see Yahoo Toolbar 2.4.1.2011 shown. Just scroll down the page to the bottom and look for the Yahoo link to "http://yahoo.toolbar. com. Click on the link and it'll take you to the site where you can install your updated Yahoo toolbar that will work with Firefox 7.0.

Got it! Thank you BB1950 and Lamanster.

  2. Hi All,

I've always had Yahoo toolbar installed but today for some reason it disappeared! I've reinstalled it, but when I close Firefox it disappears again - I've done this 4 times now.

    Can anybody help.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi

Just downloaded Mozilla Firefox and it works fine with that. Thanks for your help.

If you alternately use the 32bit version of IE provided, it would probably work, too. It's provided as some sites don't work in 64 bit browser.

    Thanks for that, rakman.

  4. Hi,

I have the latest Adobe Flash Player installed, but whenever I try to view something it says "You need to install Flash Player to view this". I have checked 'All Programmes' and it definitely says that it is installed.

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks.

  5. I'm reading this as you are taking the ciggies INTO the UK.

    Have a look here http://www.hmrc.gov..../march/bn60.pdf

And here http://www.hmrc.gov....ax-and-duty.htm it may be worth giving the helpline a call.

Go through the red channel and declare what you have, duty is 24% of purchase price (so bring the receipt) plus 120 Quid per thousand (I'll bet that's per thousand or part of a thousand too) :(

Thanks Crossy, I'll have a read of these later.

  6. I like the Thai cigarettes "Falling Rain". I'm going back to the UK for a while and would like to take some with me. I know I'm only allowed 200 duty free, but does anyone know if you can take more if you pay the duty?

    Thanks.

  7. Have used The Bank of Ayudhya on Sukhumvit for about 6 years now and never had any problems. I call in about 3/4 days before to notify them that I need the letter, and when I go on the day to collect it it's ready and waiting for me. Normally they charge me 100 baht for the privilege, but last time they let me have it for free.

  8. :(

I must say the Chippie has sometimes been good for me (a little inconsistent) but the other one with the food from that big country in Asia done British style (which is very similar to American style) SERIOUSLY disappointed. I feel they probably ended up not hiring a chef that can really pull that concept off. While the food isn't exactly horrible, the value for money offer there is poor.

So, are you saying The Jolly Friar does Chinese food?

  9. Hi

I download torrents every day and haven't had any problems until recently. Over the past week I have noticed that everything has been getting slower and slower when I try to view websites on the internet and today it is almost impossible to open anything. When I first switch my laptop on everything is OK, and I can view websites on the internet, but after I have opened and watched a torrent then the problem starts.

Does anybody know what the problem might be? I feel I should mention also, that I download torrents into both C drive and backup D drive.

    Thanks.

    W.

  10. Not sure what e-mail client you are using but I use Thunderbird and if I right click on a link and use Send, Thunderbird pops up with the link in the message area and the cursor waiting in the To: box ready for an address.

I use Yahoo. I right click on a link and then click "send link", Yahoo pops up but it's got the link in the "To" box and not in the message area.

I've tried copying and pasting the link from the "To" box into the message area but it doesn't work.
