Thai beef isn't bad. I buy Thai ground beef from Tops as well as steak cuts. The one complaint I have is they don't cut rib eye evenly across the entire cut. But still good and I'm grateful we have plenty as some countries are hurting for meat right now, like the US. I do buy some beef from Makro. Some of their frozen imported meat is great. Makro's fresh cuts aren't as good as Tops, in my humble opinion.
Great to have beef in Thailand. They've come a long way in the last twenty years.

Fresh cuts. The brand is Bangkok Bob. I don't know if they are in Bangkok but I assume. I'm in Khon Kaen and they have had them in stock over the last two weeks with regular restocking. Nice.

I don't know if I can mention brands but Bangkok Bob is distributing great cuts of beef upcountry through Big C. They are very tasty, high quality cuts, ribeye, strip sirloin and ground. And since the Chinese cut Australian beef imports after the Aussies called for an independent virus investigation, now is a great time to support Aussie beef and freedom.
Time to eat meat-Australian meat!

That's some pretty serious money for the boys!

Approx 120 new cases every day. You wonder if this reported linear increase is because the number of tests that can be carried out is limited to a very low number. You would think there should be some exponential increase by now.
If you look closely at the numbers, and if you can believe them, there is a downward trend...136, 127, 120...if, if and if, that's a good trend.

It must be the weather here. Even if the government is not testing the masses, you would have ERs all over the country swamped with pneumonia cases if the situation was much worse than what it is.

Exactly. Where is the evidence?

Getting as many people as possible tested would greatly increase safety for those NOT infected. South Korea is going this route to great success without oppressive lock down measure like China.

Every country is failing to go ugly early. An example from history could teach us a lot. Tito in Yugoslavia stopped a deadly small pox outbreak in 1972 by going ugly early. Incremental action just does not help when it comes to contagious diseases.

The bad air will definitely exacerbate the Wuhan Virus. It attacks weakened lungs and there is nothing like clouds of smoke to weaken your lungs.

Khon Kaen is above 150 almost every day. You can really feel it. It is relentless.

The question is: why are 'most' governments not being honest and the outbreak in their countries?

Cases in Isaan have been reported by hospital staff at two different hospitals. These cases, four that I know of, have not been added to the countrywide tally. I suspect that these four cases are only a small number of cases not being reported. The government could better serve the public with accurate information.

All returnees from these nations and territories must self-quarantine for 14 days, he said.
Impossible to control. What about the tourists arriving from these destinations? I guess that is fine.
This is the point! Why are people from these high risk places allowed into the country? Especially from China? Seems strange.

Thanks Freeman!
I have signed up at Kraken and awaiting verification. I will look into getting a wallet and transferring my assets over. I'm only buying two coins: Bitcoin and XRP.
Take care!

Hello,
I live in Thailand. I have been using a friend's account to invest in cryptocurrency. He's not a US citizen. It's getting a little complicated so I'd like to do it myself. Are there any restrictions on US citizens investing in cryptocurrency while living abroad? Would any of you recommend a site or a wallet to do this while living in Thailand? Any other recommendations would be helpful. Thank you so much.

So why it the WHO praising the lying gangsters that run China? Wait, the WHO chief is from Ethiopia where China is building a great big spy-ah-research facility.

Bit of an update:
The air up here in Khon Kaen is worse than ever! Last night as the moon rose so did the smoke. It reached 159 during the night and it's 153 as I write this post at 10 a.m.
I have the air purifier on order as well as the filtrate. I have done my best to seal my home. We did a good job on the master bedroom and the kid's room.
However, last night the smoke was so bad in my bedroom that I slept downstairs. How can the smoke be getting in? Well, it finally dawned on my that we have four vents in two places up near the ceiling trusses. Those vents are sucking in all that smoke and it's seeping below the ceiling tiles and into our rooms! I pushed up one of the ceiling tiles this morning and the smoke nearly choked me. Unbelievable!
I'm planning on covering those vents on Monday. It still won't be air tight but I'm curious how it improves the situation. I'm also wondering how vital those vents are in keeping the house cool, but if it's heat versus smoke, I'll take the heat anytime.
Cheers for all your suggestions!

Wrap your air conditioner air intake filters with 3M's Filtrete and run them on fan only, not expensive and very effective, change the filtrete every couple of weeks, available from the 3M shop and sometimes from Homepro.
Solid advice! Great tip. Thanks. I will get that.

1. Buy a good air purifier which also filters the 2.5 particles. I have Xiaomi Mi Air Purifiers 2, which are working very good. Price at Lazada around 3,000 Baht.
2. Change your windows to some they really close. If air can come in, also particles can come in. I built double glass windows in my bedroom. Or, cheaper version, buy some special rubber at HomePro to close the gaps.
3. Close always all windows and doors.
Outside my house are AQI 150, inside right now 20.
Thanks for the reply! As some have said, I should move. They're right, but it's a little more complicated than that. But good advice. I'm going to get that purifier for sure. Changing my windows on a rental property is more problematic. I may have to go ghetto and tape them shut as best I can. I will look into the rubber at HomePro.
Thanks!

They are thinner cuts but tender and full of flavor. I was very surprised when I saw it. I hope they keep it up.
