Being customers over 7 years now @ Nat Motors: best and always friendly service, best offers when changing bikes, good quality of service/work, costs you don't need to talk about: simply the best!
-

Quality good enough and very watchable with recdently upgraded 3bb-internet, I thank you for the link!
...and I hope, it works for a while...

We Tv
in Chiang Mai
Just an idea:
-
This post to our German friends living in Chiang Mai
I've just been at WE TV's office to cancel my more than 10years old account - instantly.
The reason is that since today they took off DW-TV (Deutsche Welle TV) from their net. Asked the lady behind the counter, answer: "...no, not coming back!" So me.
DW-TV was the main reason to watch (quality) WE TV, for sure not one of their football - or Old Movie - Channels.
Maybe I'm not the only one...
Have a nice day

Maxnet 3 mb, 590b/month. Huey Kaew Road:
time ago, being TT&T very good,
changed to 3bb: not as reliable as before.
But as yesterday: very good connection, maybe the new US submarine cABLE?
Also TOT 3mb, 590b/month, Changklan Road/Anusarn, all time reliable, mostly fast enough, good service.
As of yesterday more speed on busy times, was possible watching TV during peak time (evening).

Being long years customer with Nat Motor on Huey Kaew - always satisfied with quality of work, prices, service for the customers,
also very good offer when changing the old bike for a new one! Highly recommended.

Hey, since we are all together right now: how about founding a UUGCM? (UbuntuUserGroupChiangMai;-))

Just type: "startx" (without the "" ;-) )

And downgrading from Linux to be chained By M$? Never in my lifetime.

Brilliant! I'll do that just as soon as I finish trying to figure out Virtual Box, which might be a solution to not having to switch to MS XP.
That's exact the way I'm doing it, because there is only one prog impossible to get for Linux.
Virtualbox works without a flaw, but do not install the OSE Version, just install Virtual Box as shown in the following adress, so you can use USB on Virtual Box, that makes ist a lot easier!
Good Luck!

It allows you to burn nearly all your installed progs on a CD to use it as an installation-medium for your next Ubuntu-Setup.
Easy to use, just try it & see what happens, can't do anything wrong, and a CD is only 5 Baht :-)

You don't need to download again, just use "AptonCD", it's already in the repositories.
...sudo apt-get install aptoncd...

Oh, I forgot the most important: freedom was back!

Running Linux From A Usb Stick?
in Linux
Posted
sudo apt-get install unetbootin
With unetbootin you can make bootable sticks from nearly any distribution.
Done it a lot of times, really easy and always working.
Enjoy!
